After a long cool shower, I slipped on a black sweatpants and a plain white shirt. It was the perfect wear for the warm day.
I smiled at Mia who was sitting on the bed and reading a novel, as I walked to join her.
"What's up?" I asked, sitting directly in her front.
She dropped the novel on the side table, and shifted forward to me, from the pillow, returning my smile. "I'm good. I've just been reading some great books."
"Hmmm. I hope it's not an erotic one that'll make you fall for the characters?" I teased.
She burst into laughter, and hit against my arm after laughing for a while. "I don't know about that. If the guys are too hot, I might end up falling for them."
