Chapter 12- Finally getting together

Jake walked down to the front gate and as luck was on his side Howard was on duty. They went inside the small building and sat down with a coffee he had made for them.

“What can you tell me about a man that used to work here? a Legolas Graft.”

“He only worked here for about two months, he took a real shine to Miss Bruce but she didn’t want anything to do with him. Apparently one night he got a little rough with her, assaulted her so Mr. Bruce had him beaten up and had his face rearranged. By the time his men were done with him, he didn’t look so pretty anymore. After that, he just disappeared and was never heard from him again. Why do you ask?”
