Chapter Thirty One

Joyce got out of the office she had been to get a new phone. She just needed to get new Sim cards and her Huawei Y9 would be good to go. She did not let James know that she was going to buy the phone, because he knew he would have insisted on giving her money for it, which she did not want.  He would have even wanted to follow her and buy her a phone that was much more expensive than the one she bought.

She could not bear to spend such huge amount of money on a phone when she was currently about opening up her salon. She had a big amount in her account which she earned from here salary and grants, but she would not mind having more. She just did not want to depend solely on her fiance. She liked being independent and did not want to act like a gold digger like she had once been called,though she knew James wouldn't mind her asking him for money. 

She decided to trek down the road to register two Sim cards before heading home to her mother'
