His Lustful Obsession

Chapter 5

Shekinah’s POV

I could sense Adrain’s eyes on me with each passing moment. If I went to the left, his eyes followed. To the right, it repeated the same action. Crazy enough, his eyes always moved from my face to my chest, down to my toes before returning to my face.

Staying with King for so long, I was able to learn how to act distracted but still not distracted. That was the key to making him more and more obsessed with me. Occasionally, I would glance at him as though it was a normal act or coincidence.

And fortunately for me, he bought it. It was so easy to do and I loved it. He winked at me once and I knew to act as though I did not just see it. Then finally, the guard dog, Maureen. She has been looking at me for a long time. Not just looking, but monitoring me.

My every move, my every word, she made sure to monitor. Worse, she was trying to act like she wasn’t doing it. It was so easy to predict her and watch her move. At one point, I stared at her directly, but I did not make it too obvious.

It was not long after, and she was walking over to Adrain. I watched her whisper something to him and if it were before, maybe I would have been scared, but no. I’ve learnt not to be scared. As expected, it did not turn out too good for her.

Even after whispering to him, Adrian’s eyes were still on me. With a victory smile, I twirled my drink before taking a sip with my left hand folded underneath my boobs. She followed his line of sight and boy, was she not happy to see me standing at the very spot her fiancee was looking in.

I looked away casually, as though I didn't just see her try to make me look evil. Casually, I smiled at a lady who waved back with a smile. Taking my eyes in that direction and little miss fiancee was matching over to me with an angry look on her face.

I relaxed my back on the stable table behind me as I took a sip of my wine. This was going to be fun. “You think you are pretty, bitch” was her first line. “You are not. You are just a slut looking for people’s fiance to sleep with”

I could definitely smell the anger and frustration in her body. Her body was shaking with anger, her fist folded as though she wanted to punch me. The side of her head was red, almost like a tomato, with veins popping out of both sides.

“You look terrible,” I told her

She was visibly taken aback and, as though I did not just insult her, I sipped my wine, giving her a smile. “You are a witch,” she said

“Never thought you were still a kid to believe in such,” I threw the words at her, calmly

She shook her head. “Who do you think you are?”

“King told you, Shekinah” I raised my brows, acting as though she was crazy

“Shekinah or whatever you call yourself, I see what you are doing and I know what you are doing. Adrian is my fiance, and he is the most loyal man I have ever met. So your chances with him are zero”

I wanted to laugh. A loyal man, indeed. “Then why are you speaking to me then? You trust him so you shouldn’t worry your little dumb brain on it”

“You think you are pretty, don’t you?”

“I don’t think that I am pretty. I just am. Unfortunately, not many people can have that privilege so they think they are,” I said but added, “Like you”

Frustrated, she said, “You don’t have what it takes to steal Adrain’s attention. I have it fully”

I have been bored for too long so why don’t we try something with little miss attention. “Get his attention then” I moved my head to the side

“What?” she looked shocked and confused

“Prove it. Prove that you have his full attention”

She had an avenue to just but little miss fiancee decided to agree with it. I expected something more subtle, but she chose to call out, “Baby” with a smile

I sipped my drink, wondering how stupid and desperate she was to prove something as crazy as that to someone who she just thinks she met for the first time. After calling out to him with his pet name and even his name, it only worked for a few seconds before he returned his gaze to the man he was speaking to.

She then turned back to me but she was not going to accept defeat no. “He is just busy with a client”

“Watch me” I said and only moved two steps away from her, moving some strands of my hair to the side while sipping my drink and like a cue, Adrian turned in my direction and was no longer listening to the man speaking in front of him.

As expected, she wanted to turn it around, but I rather let her speak like the madwoman that she was.

Adrian’s POV

I could only glance at her with yearning. Her skin has been radiating since she stepped in here. Her movements always found a way to catch my eye, even though I was busy with something. To an extent, I didn't even know Maureen was at her side.

“You should stop looking at her. She is not for you. And what will your fiance think about it?”

I turned around to meet the one who spoke those words. The only words that could come out of my mouth at that very second were, “I do not care what she feels, only what I feel”

“You should learn to control yourself, Adrian,” King said

“I know she isn’t so interested in you. She is more interested in people like me. Whatever belongs to you always interests me and I’ll take what you have again,” I frowned then added, “And the good news is, you won’t be able to do anything as always”
