Hayden pov

I was about to go to bed but I couldn't help but worry about Kaylee and how she complained of having too much work to do, I stood up from the bed and picked up my phone. I placed a call to her and after calling several times she was not picking my calls.

I decided to call Mr Cayden and check up on him then get a little update on Kaylee from him.

The phone didn't ring for long when he picked it.

“Good day sir.” I greeted the moment he picked the call.

“Hayden dear, good thing you called.” I was curious to know why he said that the moment he picked the call.

“Are you okay?” I was a little worried.

“I'm fine, I need you to help me convince her to come home and not overwork herself. She has insisted on spending the night at work because she has a lot to take care of.” I wasn't surprised because she wasn't picking my calls.

I stood up from the bed and rushed to the closet so I could pick something to wear and visit her in her workplace.
