CHAPTER 57

Nick sighed despondently and handed the phone back to Clara. "I guess she doesn't want to talk to you." Clara stated politely.

She couldn't understand what was going on between her best friend and her boss. "Yeah, I guess so. It was obvious." Nick scoffed and walked away. He got to his office and arranged his things and then, left the office. He was done with work so, he was headed home.

"Get me a new secretary, a male one," Nick said to his P.A, his eyes not leaving the system.

"Okay sir, I'll bring the eligible ones for you to interview." His P.A replied politely. "No need for that, I'm too busy for that. Just do it yourself and make sure the guy is good and can handle all the works perfectly." Nick replied.

"Okay boss, I'll do as you have said. I'll take my leave now." The P.A bowed lightly and walked out of the office.
