When Nala enters her room, she is startled by a man behind her blanket. Named Raymond, whose purpose of arrival was to keep Nala who was just an ordinary human being. It was pictured with a large tattoo bearing Nala's name on his chest. Nala wants to report it to the police but undoes her intentions when she finds out there's a big secret they have to cover up about Raymond coming out of nowhere. It's added that Raymond's behavior is like that of a child under five who breaks down in tears. What surprised Nala was that he had wings. Yes. The wings are large, black, and soft, coming out of his back. Where Nala realizes that Raymond showed up is because of her, with a birthday candle. And again Raymond always fires scents that almost make Nala lose her mind. Who exactly is Raymond? What's the real purpose? Why does he keep calling himself a failed half-human elf?
View MoreWhen Nala unlocked her bedroom door she found a lot of blackbird feathers strewn across the white-tiled floor. Nala stayed in her room with the windows tightly closed and the day was still bright. She took the feathers that were in front of her feet, it was very softer than the feathers of birds that Nala once held, and again her size was not small birds breed.
Nala sniffs the air, her room is filled with a sweet fragrant melted chocolate and a faint smell of rain that just fell to meet Nala's smell. The fur that Nala holds also smells the smell of her favorite chocolate.
Crack!
The sound of friction makes Nala's head jerk towards her mattress with her eyes flickering. There was a large mound moving around in a thick blanket that lay in disarray. Nala's heart suddenly races, pumping blood quickly.
Nala's eyes are looking around, something to defend herself and find her badminton racket hanging from the wall. She slowly picked it up. Taking a slow breath and praying deeply for her safety later, Nala prepares to catch a blanket and know who or whatever is in it. Nala grasps the end of the blanket and begins to count in the heart.
One, two, Thr-
Nala has not even had time to count to three, the figure first surprises Nala who unknowingly retreats and closes to the wall. The figure stood towering over his bed while still wearing a blanket covering his entire body.
Nala can feel her own breath hunting until it is heard to the ears. Nala closes her lips as her brown eyes catch a tan-skinned hand out from behind a blanket, trying to pull away painstakingly.
Nala's breath is choked, when the figure manages to show who he really is, after the fragrant chocolate and the combination of the intense aroma of rain increasingly fill Nala's room.
Nala's eyes widen as the heart accelerates. There stood a man in black leather pants with no shirt.
The first thing that makes Nala proud is what is painted on the man's chest. Her name is written in large, clear black ink on his tan skin. Nala.
Nala doesn't know who this foreign man is, and why it could be in her tightly locked room and without a balcony. It was only suddenly in her room after Nala had just celebrated her birthday with her family downstairs.
Nala's eyes go up and instantly intersect with a clear grey iris on the right and a golden color on the left staring right into Nala's bead with sparkling. Nala shakes as if the air is strong around her, the eyes are like sucking her up in space-time.
His wild black hair sticking out here and there was perfectly ruffled but felt right on his head. Until a few strands of hair cover part of her thick eyebrows.
When the man pulls every corner of his lips upwards with the adam's apple up and down in such away. The squeak of the mattress sounded as he came down on the floor. Nala pointed her racket right at the man's chest. "Who are you?"
"Raymond, Nala." Nala's eyebrows were intertwined when she heard a loud hoarse voice from the man, who is known as Raymond, who said he looked right into his eyes.
"How do you know my name?" Nala desperately refrains from breathing too often or the smell of chocolate blending rain and freshly cut grass will affect her.
"It's a natural thing to happen, Ray's destined to be here, Nala," she says lightly with a curved lip. Nala sings with Raymond's use of the name.
"Nala asked Ray to come, then Ray's here." Nala sees the earnestness inside Raymond's different eyeballs that start to water. But Nala doesn't understand when she asks Raymond to come, she doesn't even know Raymond. "It hurts, Nala."
Knowing Raymond won't hurt herself, Nala releases her pressure and retreats a few steps. Nala why her heart and mind are so sure that Raymond is not a bad person.
Nala's brown eyes drop as she watches Raymond's hands rub his tattooed chest. "Why is there my name there?" pointed out Nala.
Raymond raises his head and smiles very broadly when he stares back at Nala. Raymond's hand stroked where the tattoo was. "This is a sign of ownership, Nala. Ray, Nala's and will take care of Nala."
Nala squinted, "You don't belong to anyone. I don't even know who you are," he says stressed.
Raymond cries afterward, staring at Nala in disbelief with his wide eyes. "Don't say that Nala. Ray doesn't have anyone, here even Ray is unwanted." Raymond crouched down hugging his knees while sobbing.
Nala cringes, this man is suddenly in her room, but it is Nala who feels guilty. Nala breathes deeply, where the scent is not as close as before. "No, it's not like that. You're a stranger, go into a girl's room without clothes on. And I don't know what your purpose is, you could have done evil, right?"
Raymond looked up at Nala, he rubbed his wet cheeks with the back of his hand and Raymond shook his head. "Ray came to look after Nala, Ray swore. Want Ray to show you something, Nala?"
Nala put her racket back on Raymond. "Please do. Make me believe."
Raymond rose to his feet wiping his watery nose with the back of his hand. "Ray won't hurt Nala. Promise."
Then Raymond bows his back, Nala staring alertly. She is like losing her breath as Nala looks clearly in front of her eyes, Raymond's back as it splits rapidly and pulls out two small black hairy protrusions that are getting bigger and bigger.
Nala unknowingly edged against the wall, the racket in her grasp fell off. Raymond stares at Nala with a curious look waiting for Nala to say something, even his eyes brighter beforehand.
Nala's eyes switch and are glued to the back of Raymond as his big wings appear and flap slowly. Yes, a pair of wings. Large, black and seems very soft and smooth. Nala just realized the feather she met just now wasn't a bird, but a human?
"Oh, My God." Nala closes her eyes tightly and opens quickly. New problem, reappearing. Her brother Daniel came at an incorrectly timed time. "Who are you?" hissed Daniel staring intently at Raymond.
Not knowing when Daniel suddenly sped in front of Nala and hit Raymond on the cheek hard, until Raymond fell to the floor.
As if her brother had one hundred percent courage and indifference to what kind of man Raymond was, Daniel held Raymond, who was crying with a murmur of pain, to his knees. "I don't know what kind of creature you are. But why is it in my sister's room?"
Nala must be dreaming now. Dreaming with the scent of thick chocolate, rain, and freshly cut grass. He's going to wake up. Definitely.
And it's all dark.
Thanks for reading.
"Your death will come first if you even touch my family." Nala couldn't ignore how a pair of white wings suddenly appeared from behind this man's back, stretching wide to fill the narrow alley, making Nala feel the tightness attack her again. Moreover, coupled with the strong and sharp aroma that began to attack her sense of smell, Nala's legs felt weak and she slumped to the ground without being able to hold it. One of the man's sharp-shod legs pressed against Arghi's shoulder to keep it in place. The man's voice began to creep back through the air. "Killing you now would be so easy, but where's the fun in that?" Nala even now couldn't open her voice as the feeling of being suppressed was getting stronger and stronger over her body. Who is this person? "Lewis. Don't you want to know my name?" The man named Lewis, said in a sarcastic tone, the pressure on Nala's shoulders still didn't lessen in the slightest. "Your new pet didn't tell me about it?" Nala's eyes immediately narrowed
"Daniel?" Nala gasped to see Daniel who had been standing in the doorway with his eyes glaring at Raymond.Nala went forward she felt a sense of disappointment and pleasure gather together inside her when she looked back at Daniel who now looked fine. Nala took a step closer and made a sound to draw the attention of Daniel who seemed to forget Nala who was still standing there."Daniel? Where have you been?" Nala asked, even though she already knew half of the truth that had happened to Daniel. But Nala expects the honesty that she gets.Daniel's eyes shifted and looked straight into Nala's irises, a surprised expression crossed his face, and seemed to have just realized Nala's presence was also there. Daniel opened his mouth only for him to close it again, he looked very confused to answer Nala's question."Daniel?" call Nala one more time."Business trip." Daniel must be lying and doesn't seem to feel the least bit guilty about what he just said. Daniel turned away from Nala's gaze,
"Is she the one you're going to kill next?"The sentence blows quickly to hit Nala with shock. Clearly that this guy had a conversation full of, Nala believed Raymond that he wouldn't be able to do it, right? She hardly sounds sure. But who's that guy that makes Nala doubt Raymond?"Who is he?" Nala interrupts when Raymond is in her open room, he sits on a small red sofa in the corner of the room. Raymond appears to be jolted from his daydream when Nala asks him that.He glanced at Nala to stare intently at her. There's an expression that arises there that Nala can't afford to read. fear? worried? Or what? Nala doesn't know.Raymond just shuts his mouth shut, is this also part of his promise not to tell Nala?"All right, that's your right not to speak." In the end, Nala says that even though her heart says otherwise, she wants to force Raymond to say all the things Nala doesn't know. But what if the man is right?Nala massages the b
When Nala walks up to fetch fresh air, she feels the wind blowing at her nape. Making the uncomfortable feeling wrap tightly, she paused just to turn around and found no one there. Nala waits in case the man shows his nose. However, nothing happened. The wind blows slowly stroking the smooth surface of her face, Nala draws a deep breath filling her lung cavity, and feels a scent that she knows very well. Nala's lips form a thin line, she is disappointed in Raymond not following her words."Just get out, Raymond!" commands Nala in her voice filled with disappointment.Nala grunts, her hands stuffed into her gym pants pocket as she watches Raymond emerge from his hideout behind a tree shyly. Raymond even followed her barefoot."I told you to stay home," Nala said. She still feels the guilt that still lodges with Raymond because of the actual abusive behavior he didn't mean to be. Nala just didn't know what was wrong with her at the time, she just didn't see
Nala breathes as slowly as possible late tonight, she leans against the wall to hear any movement in the next room. But there remains silence only the sound of the spring wind crackling out there, creating leaves dancing along with the breeze. What's wrong with Daniel? He's been locked up since two days ago, Nala believes. Although her mother said Daniel was out of town and didn't know when to go home. If it was true daniel was away, her brother would have said goodbye to her. Nala occasionally hears a movement at the end of Daniel's room, a falling object, something broken might just be a glass. But as soon as that sound comes up, it will sink back behind the silence like never before. Dad, mom even Raymond kind of covered this up from Nala. They sometimes pretend not to hear Nala ask when she brings up a conversation about Daniel's presence while they are chatting. "What exactly is it?" asked Nala to herself. He's getting his legs to his chest. Nala was jol
Nala's feelings became uneasy and agitated, so she immediately ran down the stairs to get out into her yard in a hurry.Nala's legs become limp when her eyes capture a sight she never wanted to see. On the green grass lay Daniel with a gaping abdominal wound that Nala was so convinced by the slash of the sword from the foreign man. Its plain white t-shirt is smeared with terrible bloodstains, littering the grass like a spill of red paint.Tears that Nala did not realize had flowed rapidly when she reached Daniel. He knelt clutching Daniel's cold palm. Daniel who is still semi-conscious blinks weakly staring at Nala, his hand back grasping Nala gently."Raymond? Raymond calls someone. Raymond. Anyone. Help Daniel," cried Nala hysterically. There's no answer from Raymond, making Nala turn quickly to Raymond standing stiffly behind her. "Why Raymond? Call someone, please!""But Nala," Raymond said hesitantly with tears coming out staring between Danie
