Chapter 45

I have been stuck here for the last three hours and nothing happened, nobody stopped to help as expected because with the rain it was already darker than usual and the fact that I must have broken something because the car shut off and now it won't start again really isn't helping. Oh and I am bored. I have nothing to do and nobody to come rescue me. I doubt if Liam has even noticed that I was staying away longer than necessary. I was hoping that he would have been here by now.

I tried breaking the windows but that wasn't happening and the door wouldn't open with it being stuck three quarters of the way into the ditch. The electric windows aren't working because the car won't start, so I can't even just open them and climb out. I laughed at myself because I felt really stupid at the moment. Before long, the tears were back again.

Mum had chosen Harold. She didn't even think twice and just blatantly chose him over dad. Dad was the man who stood by her
