Chapter 16- Daddy

One Year Later

Apollo came home from school with a sullen expression on his face. His mouth pouted, and his brows frowned like he was having a bad day at school. He placed his bag next to the couch and sat down on the sofa with an exasperated sigh. Felicity turned from her seat to look at her son quizzically. She was holding the sketch pad and pencil, which she later placed on the table, to sit next to the child who was frowning.

“Hey, honey. What’s the matter? Is there someone or something that upsets you? Is there something happened at school? You can tell mommy if there is something that bothers you.” Felicity smiled at her son, who was staring at her.

He turned to get the letter from his bag and stared at it, then he looked at his mother, who was waiting for him to speak. Felicity looked at the letter that Apollo was holding and frowned. “Is that for me?” She asked.

“Mom? Can I ask a question?” Felicity became alert. Her heart beat faster than the usual heartbeat as she felt nervo
