I woke up to an empty bed.

The sheets on his side were cold. For a second I thought he’d left for work early, but then I heard the shower running in the en-suite. Steam was already seeping under the door. I lay there staring at the ceiling, the weight of yesterday still sitting in my chest like something I hadn’t finished swallowing.

Jenna.

The way she’d tasted. The way I’d come with her thigh pressed between mine. The way I’d decided—stupidly, deliberately—not to tell him.

The water shut off.

A minute later Elias stepped out with a towel around his waist, hair damp, skin still flushed from the heat. He didn’t look surprised to find me awake. He just walked to the dresser, pulled out clothes, and started getting dressed with his back to me.

“You’re up early,” I said.

“Couldn’t sleep.” His voice was flat. Controlled. “You were restless all night.”

I sat up, pulling the sheet higher. “I didn’t mean to keep you awake.”

He turned around while buttoning his shirt. His eyes moved over my face like he was still searching for whatever he’d sensed the night before.

“You going to tell me what’s going on,” he asked, “or are we still doing the waiting thing?”

My stomach tightened. “There’s nothing going on.”

He finished with the last button and walked over to the bed. He didn’t sit. Just stood there looking down at me.

“You’re a bad liar when you’re nervous,” he said quietly. “Your mouth gets tight. You did it last night when I asked if you missed me. You’re doing it again now.”

I forced my expression to stay neutral. “You’re reading into nothing.”

“Am I?”

He leaned down, bracing one hand on the mattress beside my hip. Close enough that I could smell his soap. Close enough that the air between us felt thinner.

“I’ve been patient,” he said. “But patience isn’t the same as blindness. Something happened yesterday while I was gone. I can feel it on you.”

My pulse was loud in my ears. “Elias—”

“Was it someone?”

The question landed like a hand around my throat. I didn’t answer fast enough. His eyes darkened.

“Who.”

It wasn’t a question anymore.

I could have lied. I could have said the plumber again, or invented something safer. Instead I heard myself say, very quietly:

“Jenna.”

He went completely still.

For a second the only sound was the low hum of the air conditioning.

“The delivery girl,” he said.

“Yes.”

He straightened up slowly. His expression didn’t change much, but something behind his eyes went cold and sharp.

“You fucked her.”

“Yes.”

“In my house.”

“Yes.”

He laughed once—short, humorless—and ran a hand over his mouth. Then he looked at me again, and the calm was gone.

“Get up.”

“Elias—”

“Get. Up.”

I stood. The sheet fell away. I was only in underwear. He looked at me like he was deciding something irreversible.

“You’re going to tell me everything,” he said. “Where. How. How many times you came. And then you’re going to listen while I decide what happens next.”

My mouth was dry. “You’re angry.”

“I’m past angry.” He stepped closer. “You kept it from me. You sat on my lap last night with her still on your skin and let me kiss you. That wasn’t a secret, Riley. That was a choice.”

I lifted my chin even though my heart was slamming. “You don’t own every part of me.”

“Don’t I?”

The silence that followed was heavy enough to hurt.

He reached out and brushed his thumb across my lower lip. The touch was almost gentle. The look in his eyes wasn’t.

“You have until I get home tonight,” he said. “To decide how you want this to go. You can tell me the truth in detail… or I can find another way to get it out of you.”

He dropped his hand and stepped back.

“I have meetings until six. Be here when I get back.”

He picked up his keys and wallet from the dresser. At the door he paused without looking at me.

“And Riley.”

I waited.

“Don’t leave the house today. Don’t call her. Don’t try to clean anything up. I want you exactly as you are when I walk through that door tonight.”

Then he left.

The front door closed downstairs a minute later. The garage door rumbled. His car pulled away.

I stood in the middle of his bedroom in nothing but underwear, the confession still hanging in the air, and realized I’d just handed him the one thing he’d been waiting for.

The waiting was over.

Whatever came next would be on his terms.

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0037- Still here

I woke before him.Gray light was leaking around the curtains. His arm was still heavy across my waist, his breath steady against the back of my neck. For a few minutes I just lay there, cataloguing the aches — the dull soreness between my thighs, the faint bruise-tenderness on my wrists where he’d pinned them, the leftover heat in my face from everything I’d admitted the night before.I’d told him.And he was still here. That fact sat in my chest in a complicated way. Not relief exactly. Not safety either. Something closer to the feeling of standing on a ledge and realizing the drop hadn’t taken me after all.He stirred behind me. His hand flexed once on my stomach, then slid up to rest between my breasts.“You’re awake,” he said, voice rough with sleep.“Yeah.”“How long.”“A few minutes.”He made a low sound and pulled me more firmly against him. I felt him hardening slowly against the curve of my ass. Neither of us moved for a while. The quiet felt different from the night before

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0036- Thursday night

Elias’s flight landed at 8:40.I knew because I tracked it. I knew because I’d spent the entire day cleaning an already clean house, changing sheets that didn’t need changing, and rehearsing versions of the truth that all sounded equally bad. By the time the garage door rumbled open at 9:15, my hands were cold and my pulse was doing something uneven in my throat. He walked in with his bag over one shoulder and the tired posture of a man who’d spent two days in meetings. He set the bag down, loosened his tie, and looked at me standing in the kitchen like he’d been counting the hours too.“Hey,” he said.“Hey.”He crossed the space, cupped the back of my neck, and kissed me. Slow. Thorough. The kind of kiss that felt like checking for changes. When he pulled back his eyes searched my face.“You okay?”“Yeah.”He didn’t look convinced. He poured himself a glass of water, drank half of it, and leaned against the counter.“House smells like lemon,” he said.“I cleaned.”“Thoroughly.”I nod

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0035- Old and New

Elias left early for a two-day work trip.He told me the night before, voice even, eyes steady on mine while he packed a small bag. “I’ll be back Thursday night. Don’t do anything you’ll have to confess when I walk through the door.”I nodded. He kissed me hard enough to leave my mouth tingling, then left. The house felt too quiet after the garage door closed.By noon the quiet had turned into restlessness. I told myself I was just bored. That the ache he’d left between my legs the day before was the only reason my skin felt too tight. I lasted until one-thirty before I picked up my phone.Jake answered on the second ring.“Didn’t think I’d hear from you,” he said.“Are you free?”A pause. “When?”“Now. And… I might not be alone.”Another pause, longer. Then a low, interested sound. “Text me the address again.”I did. Then I opened the conversation with Jenna.**Riley:** Are you working today?**Jenna:** Off at two. Why?**Riley:** Come over after. Someone else will be here too.She d

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0034- Prove it

We stayed in bed most of the morning. Not talking much. Not sleeping either. His hand rested on the curve of my hip under the sheet, thumb moving in slow, idle strokes like he was reminding himself I was still there. Every so often I’d feel his eyes on me. When I looked back he didn’t look away.Around eleven he finally spoke.“Get up. Shower. Then come back here.”I did what he said. The shower was quick. I didn’t bother with clothes after. When I walked back into the bedroom he was sitting up against the headboard, sheet pooled around his waist, watching me with that same unreadable focus from earlier.“Come here.”I climbed onto the bed. He caught my wrist before I could settle beside him and pulled me forward until I was straddling his thighs again. His hands slid up my sides, slow, mapping skin he already knew by heart.“Last night I made you wait,” he said. “This morning I made you ask. Now you’re going to show me you meant it.”My pulse kicked. “How?”“You’re going to ride me u

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0034- On your knees

Morning came slow and gray.I hadn’t really slept. The light in the guest room had stayed on all night like a punishment that didn’t need raising its voice. My body felt heavy. My mouth tasted like I’d been clenching my jaw for hours. Somewhere down the hall I heard movement — a drawer, the soft sound of feet on hardwood — then nothing.I got up.I didn’t put on clothes. He’d seen me naked the night before when he sent me up here. Clothes felt like armor I hadn’t earned. I walked down the hallway on bare feet and stopped outside his bedroom. The door was half open. I pushed it the rest of the way.Elias was sitting on the edge of the bed in dark sweatpants, no shirt, elbows on his knees. He looked up when I entered. His expression didn’t soften. It didn’t harden either. He just watched me like he’d been waiting for this exact moment and had already decided how it would go.I closed the door behind me.For a second neither of us spoke. The air between us felt thick enough to choke on.

  • Harder, Daddy   CHAPTER 0032- Six O'clock

The house felt different after he left.Bigger. Quieter. Like the walls were listening.I stayed in his bedroom for a long time, sitting on the edge of the bed in my underwear, replaying the look on his face when I said Jenna’s name. Not explosive anger. Something colder. More deliberate. The kind of anger that planned.Eventually I forced myself up. Showered. The hot water did nothing to loosen the knot in my chest. I stood under the spray until my skin turned pink, then got out and stared at myself in the mirror. Same face. Same body. Everything underneath rearranged.I spent the day moving through the house like a guest. Made coffee I didn’t drink. Tried to watch something and failed. Checked the clock every twenty minutes. Chloe texted around noon asking if I wanted to meet her after her shift. I told her I wasn’t feeling well. She sent a sad-face emoji and said she’d bring soup tomorrow. The hours crawled.By four I was restless in a way that felt physical. I cleaned the kitchen
