Having a Sexy Guy as My Neighbour

NATALIA'S POV 

"YES"..squealed Natalia's ten year old younger brother Antonio.

We are moving from Davenport to Chicago.My dad is transferred from his bank job.No my dad's work is just fine,actually he is very hard working ,hence the bank needed their hard working executive to take up more responsibility.Currently he is being promoted to the ever so busy  place Chicago. 

I'm not happy about the moving out part and so is mum.But ofcourse we have to..My younger brother always the exuberant,is happy to move from place to place.

I wonder he'll become an explorer when he grows up.I was too sad to leave my Home after spending nearly two decades of my life (Incase you are wondering I'm 25 year old ).

I work with Davenport Foundation,a primary school.I had to resign my job here after my Dad's so called promotion.Obviously I have to leave, after much debate with my parents.

While leaving my former home,I kept on thinking how my life will turn up?I always wanted to move out of my parents house but couldn't leave my sick mother with the entire household work and raising a ten year old.Yes, Antonio can be a handful.Not that I am complaining.I love him to bits.

The moment I boarded my flight from Davenport..I felt I am leaving something behind,yet I was nervous and excited at the same time.

"Oh shit!" I exclaimed while my mother raised an eyebrow for my cussing.I forgot to inform Zita my best friend that our departure has been preponed due to some emergency at my father's work.I quickly put a reminder in my phone to apologise Zita as soon as we land.

Finally after two and a half hour we reached our destination.Antonio has been very excited the whole ride but after sometime he has dozed off on my shoulder and is apparently drooling..Just freaking great.

At the airport we met a balding man on his late fifties holding a placard with my father's name on it.

"Hello I'm William grayson."The man greeted us.He had a kind face and his accent shouted southern.

"Hello Mr.Grayson.This is my wife Bethany and my daughter Natalia."

"And who is this young man?"Mr.Grayson enquired.

"Aah..my younger son Antonio."

"Its very nice to meet you all.I hope you all will like Chicago."

"We are looking forward to it."

After taking our luggage,we got on a private car which took us to our destination.Antonio was jumping with excitement making all of us laugh.

"Look Nat huge building."He said in awe.Living in a quiet place of Davenport even I was in awe of the hustle and bustle of the huge city.

"The apartment is really nice and comfortable.I am sure you all will approve."

"Definitely."

After an hour of driving we reached a porsh area with a nice surrounding.There were many high-rised building,with backyards.Our building which was at the extreme corner had a well maintained backyard and a swimming pool.There were indoor gym,a small spa and gaming room  for kids.

Mr.William Grayson informed us.

By this time Antonio was running around the place as if he has won a lottery or something.While we were tired,this boy had the energy level to the highest.I sighed and looked at my mother who was literally in pain.Her arthritis has taken a toll on her.

"I suppose we should atleast unpack the essentials Nat?"

"Not today Mum,surely you've had a lot of excitement for the day.Just give it a rest."

Natalia's mother nodded like child.

We quickly made our way to our apartment.

It was huge and beautiful,luxurious yet homey.I wonder who lived before us?It had three bedroom, main hall connected to a spacious kitchen and three separate washroom.While Mr.Grayson gave us a tour to our new 'Home'.

I stepped into the balcony,the air was chilly but the view was breathtaking.I leaned over the metal railing to take in as much as I can.

Suddenly I heard loud music and screeching of a car.A figure in black stepped down with another figure.It was too far and dark for me to makeout,yet I could see a man and woman coming inside our building.

My mum called me and we dig into the pizza which we bought on our way.I was too tired after hours of travelling.

"Can you join the office tomorrow Mr.Taylor?"

"Umm..?Can't I join in,the day after tomorrow?As you know,I still haven't settled in."

"I completely understand your predicament, but we are in dire need of you."Mr.Grayson said rather urgently.

"Also,I'll send some movers to help you people."He added.

"That will be a great help.Thank you Mr.Grayson."

"Ah,please call me William or Will."

"Sure,only if you call me David?"

"Definitely."

The two men shook their hands and Mr.Grayson bid his goodbyes and left.

"Do you like it here darling?"

"Well,honestly this place is better than our home at Davenport.But you know home is home."

"Actually,I believe home is wherever your loved ones reside.As long as you are surrounded by the people you love,it gives you a kind of protection that no house made of brick and steel can provide."

"Wow Dad,that was quite impressive.Which movie lines did you steal ?"

"Brat."Natalia's father mock glared.

"Okay the ultimate father-daughter duo.Can we now go and sleep?"

"Mom,take a chill pill."

Natalia's mother smiled ruefully.

Finally we made our way to our rooms and I texted Zita that we reached.My room was at the extreme corner.I like seclusion.

I sighed wearily.

On my comfortable bed I realised Chicago will be a new light to my life.

I was tired yet my mind kept on racing.I really missed Davenport but maybe I have to suck it up and adjust in my new niche.

Let the new day bring new hope for all of  us..

I offered a prayer of gratitude to the almighty and fell into deep slumber.
