CLARA'S POV

I felt really excited as I caught onto the scent of the man that had been once announced dead. My dear father and I knew now that I had never been able to forget his scent.

It was just as I remembered, so different yet so great.

"Dad." I called him as I traced to a standing position, where his head was.

"Who are you? Why do you call me father? I'm yet to find myself a woman." He said to me suddenly and I felt shattered.

"Father, you don't remember me?" I asked him as tears formed in my eyes.

How could he do this to me? It might have been a long time but I who had lost him at eight had not forgotten him. Yet, he had such effrontery to forget me in such a short while.

"Come now girl, I don't know who you are. I believe I had a crush at my pack but we were just kids before I lost my way." He said to me, breaking my heart further.

"I'm your daughter. I'm your baby." I said to him,

"How old are you then because you look so old." He said to me,

"I'm only eighteen." I said to him
