I could not believe that I was beginning to feel the wakefulness of emotions within me as I sat close to her.
From the moment I had seen her, I had myself drawn to her and eventually observed her from afar. I learnt of her name. Clara Silver, who seemed to be the one suffering from the entire school's torture, both physically and emotionally. I had been trying my hardest to keep away from her as I could, not make it seem like I was trying to interfere with her life and activities. But it was impossible because of something.
My wolf, Reid. I had never felt him this restless with the desire to mark a woman. he clearly had declared Clara as his mate. Being around her was really tough and I found self restraint the hardest thing anyone would be subjected to.
As I sat down in front of her, it felt like I was running out of breath. It had been this way, heightened emotions and all from the moment I picked her up. I could feel the restlessness of Reid as he sought for her and more. I noticed she had reclined her head against my chest. If I was being real, I sincerely wished that she was doing that for my sake and perhaps, she wanted me as much as I desired her. But the reality was probably that she had been feeling shy and wanted to pretend to be asleep.
I grabbed a cotton swab and dabbed it with methylated spirit to clean the surface. I noticed a bruise, likely from when Melissa kicked her and she hit the ground. As a werewolf, it was difficult to tell now as to the reason she was not healing.
My hands were jittering as I held the swap, I could not count the number of times that I had swallowed.
"Grab her already!!!" Reid howls in my head.
"Wait, what?" I thought within.
"You know what! We desire her! We should have her!" He bellows.
"Just stop it! We cannot have her." I said to him,
"And why is that?" He demanded.
"Duh! She's a student and I'm supposed to be her professor. I cannot do anything about that." I explained for the upteenth time since we saw her.
"It does not matter. We can have her. We're the Alpha. We get whoever we desire and you know it!" He continues.
There were times I wished I could actually pull him out of my head and whip him like he truly deserves, but he was a cross I had come to bear.
"Look, there's a bit of her laps. How do you say we explore juiciness?" He asks.
"I...um...we..." I could not respond as my eyes fell on a spot.
"Ahhh, see? Juicy. We could raise her trousers a little more, and then make use of this space." He said suggestively.
Like one being controlled, all I could think about right this moment was the fact that I desired her. I had already suddenly placed my hand on the helm of her trousers, swallowing and sweating as I pushed it up a little. I desired to see more flesh as I started at the spotless whiteness.
"Yes. Just a little more to the top and we can lay her. Oh my!!! I can already begin to imagine what she would taste like!!" He says excitedly.
".... taste like...." I muttered in a near trance as I pushed upper a little when suddenly, her hands stopped me.
I was flustered as I had not realized what I was doing.
"This is our moment. She's playing hard. It's the female way. We should continue, and we can get..." He said.
"And get a file on sexual harassment?" I asked him.
"Fine but..." He began.
I did not make out what he had been trying to say as I too had been caught in the middle of a sentence.
"I'm sorry. I was just...." I had begun when I stared right into her eyes. They held me captive instantly.
A bead of sweat had rolled down from my temples as I kept looking directly into her eyes. Clearly, I had been enchanted and the only thing I desired was the beautiful temptation before me. I lost control as I started leaning closer and she was unmoving.
Did she want me to kiss her back or something? I could feel my member straighten out catching a boner....
"There you are, Derrick. Your students said I could find you here." The voice of the principal suddenly broke into my thoughts. I shuddered causing me to suddenly poke the cotton swab against her wound.
"Ouch!!!" She cried out.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I said to her,
"I'm alright, Professor." She said.
"Am I interrupting?" The principal asked but I could tell it would serve a little trap for a longer discussion.
"Of course not. What is it?" I asked, rising up and hoping the undergarments I had on held my boner closely.
Luckily, it did.
"This came in for you." He said, handing me a neatly packed envelope.
I saw a single seal and the signed name.
'THE VAMPIRE COUNCIL'
This was urgent and I immediately tore it up and I could tell it was indeed from the council of vampires.
"The treaty?" I muttered.
He hesitated because of Clara and then responded.
"You should look into it." He said simply.
I began reading as I recollected what had gone wrong with them prompting this eventuality.
I was supposed to join them at school last week as a guest professor for combat class. But that morning, just as I was about to take them, I got a message from the principal, who's also a member of my pack. We had actually been close for a long time and it was a message from my Beta. The pack boundaries had been breached and they were under attack. My attention was needed urgently.
I had to leave despite just arriving but there had been a scent I could not avoid. That was the first time I saw her and oh boy, did she look so beautiful?!!!!
It was all a little case of a breach by those coldhearted bloodsuckers that had prompted my attention, since it was my pack watching those cold boarders.“Um…Derrick, you have to sign underneath the treaty though.” The principal said butting into my thoughts.“Oh, I am actually going through it.” I said smiling to make it realistic.“You lie measly.” Reid sneered in my head.“Perhaps.” I responded to him.I had finished reading the treaty which had captured my attention. Then I appended my signature underneath.
I noticed suddenly that the sweet scent was gone from the room. I turned to the bed where Clara had been seated and realized too late that she was gone.
"She left." He noticed that I was looking for her.
“I am worried she might be injured.” I said when I noticed the quizzical way with which he was looking at me.“Of course.” He said to me as I handed him the treaty.“I shall take this back and make copies. I would send it to their council too.” He said, waving the document in my face.“Yeah, you do that and I shall pack this up.” I said to him as I closed the first aid box.He left by the time I turned and suddenly, the pangs of loneliness streaming from the point of her lingering scent hit me. At this point, I really wanted to deal with the principal for ruining everything. And even more was Reid who was not happy that she was gone.
“And here I thought we were only worried that she might be injured.” My wolf sneered.CHAPTER 135 CLARA'S POV "What's happening? I'm seeing you..." I heard my own words voiced out in amazement. The moon goddess simply stood there and would not make a move. It was then I looked up at her and noticed that she looked sad still in the eyes. Oh well, so much for wishful thinking. "You still do not get the point, Clara." She said to me, "What point? That I should not even be allowed to see my father? That's a huge point you made." I looked at her spitefully. "No, child and trust me, you're beginning to test me." She responded. "Of course. You're the moon goddess and as a pawn in your games, I shall only shut up and take it all like a champ. No complaints, eh?" I said to her, jutting out my jaw stubbornly. "You're really something, Clara Silver. You try to get on my nerves but I find you amusing." She responded. "Of course. Every blind wolf out there is amusing. No complaints." I responded. I saw her bite down hard as she could before approaching me. Perhaps, my ton
CLARA'S POVIt was quite...Oddly so.I had been hoping that Arlene would at the very least try and check on us but I never saw him. There was no sign of him and neither was there any of Derrick.Fear gripped me as I found myself wondering if everything was okay with him (Derrick).I needed someone to talk to.I needed to share my fears right now but Derrick was nowhere to be found."Clara, you need to rest." I heard Clover say to me."Oh, Clover! I feel so alone and lost." I said with a sigh. That was the honest truth. I felt bitter and really worked up right now but was there anything I could do?I doubt so."You'll be fine." She responded."I don't even know where Derrick is. I'm so worried. Are you not worried? What if the vamps took him?" I asked her.She let out a long drawn exhale."I am worried too, Clara. But even more than Derrick, I am worried about you. You're hurting and you have a lot on your shoulder." She said to me,"You shouldn't worry one bit about me. I'll be fine
CLARA'S POVI felt really excited as I caught onto the scent of the man that had been once announced dead. My dear father and I knew now that I had never been able to forget his scent. It was just as I remembered, so different yet so great."Dad." I called him as I traced to a standing position, where his head was."Who are you? Why do you call me father? I'm yet to find myself a woman." He said to me suddenly and I felt shattered."Father, you don't remember me?" I asked him as tears formed in my eyes. How could he do this to me? It might have been a long time but I who had lost him at eight had not forgotten him. Yet, he had such effrontery to forget me in such a short while."Come now girl, I don't know who you are. I believe I had a crush at my pack but we were just kids before I lost my way." He said to me, breaking my heart further."I'm your daughter. I'm your baby." I said to him,"How old are you then because you look so old." He said to me,"I'm only eighteen." I said to him
ALPHA DERRICK'S POV"What about him?" Randall asked as he nudged his jaw towards Kent who was still knocked out and tied up.I looked at him inquisitively before responding."The vampire said to follow him. We would follow him. You bring the boy."I said to him."Why do I get to do the hard stuff? You knocked him out, don't you think it is part of your responsibility now to..." He was still speaking when I cast him. "Fine. You don't need to look at me like I'll be next. I'll bring him." He sighed heavily as he went to Kent. Trust Randall to always make a show of how angry he gets. He made certain to land a kick to Kent's butt before struggling to pick him up while grumbling."Alpha Derrick, walk with me." Arlene said to me.Well, I guess he was back to his twelve year old vampire mode. To think a few minutes ago, this adorable looking young boy had been so intense with his glare that I nearly forgot how to breathe. I would recommend that anyone picking a fight with him should have mad
BETA BENSON'S POVI have been waiting at the pack house for this good news.Alright, bad guy here and I totally agree but you would have done the same to have some aspects of relevance attached to your name. This has always been my game plan.It is too bad I have not had the chance to introduce myself properly but I am the one who's supposed to be leading this pack.I had a strung out rivalry with Todd Silver and it was not a thing today. It was an old strife, maybe one he was not sure had such strong genesis.Could we say I always hated him and his guts from the moment my childhood dream girl had developed a friendship with him when Todd was newly transferred to our school.Everyone was all over him. He slowly took over everything and seemed like he was the saint of our time. It did not make any sense and when I tried to talk him into joining us, he had turned me down.He wanted nothing to do with my silly games and made me feel the first insult of my life. I overlooked him and decid
ALPHA DERRICK'S POV"Clara!" I called out to her as she fell off my arms.Clara sure did know how to get everyone on the edge. Right here in the vampire territory which we had encountered and she was clearly unfazed. She had suddenly left my arms to the ground and was sniffing her way further deep.I have never seen anything like that in my life. The way she moved faster and sniffed around, it was something from the human sniffing dogs.I wanted to go after her but a couple of vampires deterred me as they hissed right into our faces."Clara!" Grace even called out to her but I doubt she could hear either of us.I glared at Arlene, especially when a vampire seemed to want to threaten Clara."Arlene, are you going to let them hurt her? Us? We're not harming anyone!" I said to him as my eyes kept following her."Friends, let us all be calm. These ones mean no harm to us. At least, that much I can assure you." Arlene said to the snarling vampires."We cannot trust them in the heart of our
