Chapter - 05

Arsya rubbed his eyes which were still heavy. He immediately removed the blanket when he felt something in his stomach that was pressing to get out. Arsya quickly ran into the bathroom.

After spending a long time in the bathroom, Arsya immediately came out, rubbing his stomach, which had been feeling bad since dawn earlier. Arsya has counted three times in and out of the bathroom this morning.

"Looks like I am not feeling well," murmured Arsya, remembering that last night he was up late watching a football match with his office mates, not to mention last night Arsya came home at 2 in the morning.

Seeing the cellphone screen that lights up on the table, Arsya immediately grabbed it. There are dozens of messages and missed calls from Anjani there. Arsya patted his forehead, since when did his cellphone turn into silent mode?

Ah, yes, since the meeting yesterday afternoon. And Arsya forgot to change it again.

Without thinking twice, Arsya immediately contacted Anjani.

"Geez dear ..." a sigh of relief Anjani greeted him.

"Sorry, dear, the cellphone was in silent mode," said Arsya as he climbed onto his bed. His body is limp, his head is heavy, fortunately it's Saturday, so Arsya doesn't need to take leave of office.

"You just woke up? Are you sick? How come your voice ---"

"I'm not feeling well," answered Arsya immediately, adding to Anjani's panic on the other side.

"Have you taken your medicine? Have you had breakfast yet?"

Arsya's eyes glanced at the clock on the wall. It's ten o'clock in the morning, where should Arsya buy breakfast today?

"Not yet,"

"Oh my God .. How about this ..."

"I'm just not feeling well, baby, not dying,"

"Arsya! Don't speak carelessly, I really panic, you know!" said Anjani in an exasperated tone. Arsya chuckled.

"Where were you all day yesterday?" asked Arsya changing the topic of the conversation. Anjani was silent, pausing their conversation.

"My wife ..." Arsya called with a teasing tone.

"What ...." Anjani replied, sounding shy.

"Where were you yesterday?"

"Yesterday I watched a movie with Mr. Ardan-- BUT YOU HEARED MY EXPLANATIONS!"

Arsya put his cellphone away for a moment, his ears suddenly became hot when he heard Anjani's voice suddenly rising. Instead of getting angry after hearing his wife's explanation,

Arsya even chuckled, seeing how cute Anjani was. There must be Anjani again panicking with a flushed face.

"What?" Arsya replied pretending to be cold. Even though Arsya is holding back his laughter.

"Yesterday I watched the cinema with Mr. Ardan as a gift,"

Arsya is still silent. Listening to Anjani's explanation.

"Prize because Mr. Ardan has ACC of my thesis,"

Arsya's body leaning on the head of the bed immediately straightened up. His eyes widened, his smile slowly fluttered.

"Thank God ..." said Arsya with gratitude. He is happy. If only now Anjani was in front of him, Arsya would have kissed him repeatedly, anticipating his pride.

"Thankfully ..." Anjani repeated. Just like Arsya, there too Anjani's smile never faded, happy to see Arsya's reaction that exceeded his expectations.

"Have you registered for a trial?" asked Arsya. Anjani nodded enthusiastically there even though Arsya could not see it.

"Yes, I'm at trial next month."

"Congratulations, my wife. Good luck until graduation! Muach!" Arsya said while giving a kiss on his cellphone.

Anjani chuckled, "Aamiin, thank you husband."

Knock knock knock

"Wait a minute, there are guests." Arsya said as he got up from his bed lazily.

"Who?" asked Anjani investigating.

Arsya opened the door to his room, "Liana," said Arsya, mentioning the name of his former lover, teasing Anjani, remembering that his wife was still jealous if he was caught replying to DM from his ex-girlfriend.

"Hell! -"

"Arsya,"

Anjani's words stopped when Arsya opened the main door and found Nisya standing with a bowl of soup in her hand.

"what's up Nis?" asked Arsya, still holding his cellphone to his ear. Deliberately letting Anjani hear his conversation with the guest. Arsya did not even want his wife to suspect that the telephone line had been turned off.

Nisya's eyes turned to Arsya's cellphone, although in the next second Nisya immediately woke up and smiled.

"From my mother" said Nisya while giving a bowl of meat soup to Arsya.

Arsya moved his cellphone from his right hand to his left hand, then accepted the soup given by Nisya with one free right hand.

"Wow, thanks to your mother who knows I haven't eaten," said Arsya enthusiastically.

Nisya smiled again, "You're welcome ... Hm, are you sick? Why is your face so pale?" asked Nisya shyly, but worried.

Arsya was silent looking at Nisya with unreadable eyes.

"Yes, I'm not feeling well, Nis." Arsya answered casually. But there, Anjani's nose was already out of the smoke holding her emotions. Anjani is jealous to hear Arsya get attention from other women.

"Have you taken medicine? Do you want me to help massage your body? Or do you want me to buy medicine?”

"Arsya stopped! Close the door now!" snapped Anjani on the phone. Instantly Arsya's body hair trembled when he heard the horror sound that came from his cellphone.

Arsya chuckled stupidly, not knowing what to answer to Nisya's offer, "No need for Nis, I just need to take medicine, --Yes dear. Wait a moment," Arsya replied while pretending to be busy with his cellphone which was still connected to Anjani.

"I understand, but ---"

"Sorry Nis, my wife is really fussy, told me to take a shower. Thank you for the soup." Arsya said before continuing the chat with Nisya. Arsya immediately closed the door before Nisya even answered his words.

"Who is he? How cute!" snapped a jealous Anjani on the other side.

Arsya put a bowl of soup on the dining table, then returned to the room and lay down on the bed.

"That Nisya loves Aunt Tuti's child. I told you before. They like to cook on holidays, that's why I was given them, ” explained Arsya, comforting Anjani.

"But it's rude to offer massage to a married man. Or maybe you don't admit it if you already have a wife?" Anjani accused with suspicion.

Arsya sighs, if Anjani is jealous, her babbling is like a national speech, long.

"Ouch, my head is dizzy hearing your chatter." Arsya joked.

"Request a massage there with Nisya !!!"

Anjani throws the phone annoyed on the sofa. Her face flushed red, holding back the emotions she couldn't let go of. Her feet irritated the floor. Anjani was annoyed, but couldn't help but know what to do.

"Why, you don't pack?" Deka -he half siblings Anjani who had just returned from the kitchen, asked.

The plan, this afternoon, Anjani will go to Jogjakarta, without Arsya's knowledge. But that girl named Nisya violently spoiled her plans.

Anjani pursed her lips, "No, lazy." answered Anjani snapped. Deka immediately stared in surprise at her step sister. The feeling of being excited about going to Jogjakarta is that his mood is broken now?

Deka sat beside Anjani, "What's wrong with you, sis?" Deka asked, rubbing Anjani's shoulder gently.

Anjani sighed short, "It sucks," Anjani replied in a spoiled tone.

"What is wrong?" Deka asked softly. Deka used to deal with the mood swings of pregnant women.

Anjani played her lips, Deka was too young to hear what he said about her household. Not the answer Anjani gave, but a hug. Spoiled Deka hugged without a word.

Deka smiled warmly while stroking her dear Anjani's hair, "Come on packing, I'll help." Deka coaxed, Anjani slowly nodded her head silently.

Deka got up from her chair, pulled Anjani gently and then patiently guided her into the room.

"Arriving in Jogjakarta, please remind me," said Anjani as he climbed the stairs.

Deka frowned, "What should I remind you of?" asked Deka confused.

"Remember me to massage Nisya's mouth!"
