The night before my college entrance exams, I had a major argument with my mom, and she announced that she was severing all connections with me and would never speak to me again.

Upon hearing the news, Wynn rushed over.

It was pouring rain that day, and all my belongings were thrown out of the house. I was only wearing a thin nightgown when I locked eyes with Wynn, who was still catching his breath. While my mom continued throwing my belongings out the door, my dad was nowhere to be seen, and my sister stood by, witnessing the unfolding scene.
