The kids and Dexter stared at the doctor as he checked Clara. It was time for her to get discharged and the doctor wanted to check if she was okay.

Some minutes later, he pulled away from her and smiled.

“She is okay, you are free to go.” The doctor informed them and Kaylee giggled as she rushed to her mother.

“Are you sure?” Kaylen asked as he looked up at the doctor.

“Yes.”

“Maybe you should check again. She… “

“Kaylen, she is fine.” Dexter cut him off and he nodded. The doctor walked out of the room leaving them.

“Let's go.” Kaylee said. Dexter helped Clara up, and they all made their way out of the ward.

In minutes, they were out of the hospital and heading home.
