Lindy fluttered her eyelashes and opened her eyes. She scanned the room but before she could register anything, someone spoke not far from her. “Welcome to Cuba, wife.” Lindy quickly sat up and scanned the room to find the source of the voice.
On her far right there was a balcony and a man sitting at a table having breakfast and sipping on something she assumed was coffee. “How did I get here?” the man stood up and walked towards her. “Did you not say you wanted out?” he raised an eyebrow looking at her.
“I did but I didn’t think it will be so soon.” the man chuckled. “With how you sounded on the phone, I assumed you wanted out immediately. Anyway, this is your new home, there are the keys and there is a laptop. We are still having your family watched and the pictures and videos are being sent to that laptop.” Lindy nodded.
