Time (Around 11pm)

They're back home and Tae Jin refuse to enter the house.

On their way back, they parted ways.

Sung Yoon went back with her brother, Sung Hoon. 

Hee Young followed Shin Jin and Jay who decided to take Shin Joon to the hospital.

Sun came back with Tae Jin and Se Jong.

On arriving, Se Jong went straight to his room while Tae Jin, he chose to stay outside, refusing to go in.

It was late and both (Tae Jin and Se Jong) needed rest.

However, Tae Jin refused to let Mr Rest do his/her job.

Sun didn't like that but he understood.

He was in the same situation when he lost Hae Jin for the first time.

Anyways!

Worried about his son, Sun decided to stayed with him.

Outside, on the stairs leading to the front door sat the two (Sun and Tae Jin) some space between them.

Tae Jin looked horrible.

He was quiet, hurting inside.

Depressed.

His light pink eyes, red and teary.

"You know, Hae Jin really loved you" Sun said, trying to make him (Tae Jin) feel better.

*Sigh, he (Sun) sighed before saying,

"He didn't even say goodbye or look at me. He longer felt the same" 

He shouldn't have said that.

Cause now, Tae Jin felt worst.

Guilt was added to his terrible mood.

"I'm sorry" he (Tae Jin) said, head lowered down.

"Don't be. And..... there's something you should know. I don't think Hae Jin ever planned on breaking up with you. At least,.........not after he found out you're not my son by blood" Sun broke the news, surprising Tae Jin and he (Tae Jin) finally looked up at him.

"What?!" He (Tae Jin) exclaimed in shock.

Sun, wasn't his father?!

His mom lied to him?

Why?

Why did she?

"After Hae Jin left for states to study for a whole year, both I and Hee Young,.....we were depressed. And I just found out she felt the same way as I did. But,......at that, I didn't know. Well, I had my suspicions but I never believed that. I thought she was also depressed because she lost a friend. A friend she really loved, but....that wasn't so"

Tae Jin was tired of this!!

Why was this happening to him (Tae Jin)!

"That evening, we did not want to stay home. We........got rooms in a hotel and then,.......went down to the bar to drink. We.......drunk a lot...... and the next morning, we woke up in my room, on the same bed. Undressed. None of us had a memory of what happened. How we got back........We thought we did something and a month later, Hee Young found out she was pregnant"

Seriously!

Mom!

Tae Jin yelled in mind.

Hurt.

"On the day she gave birth, Hae Jin came back and he saw us. He felt betrayed. He was angry and his eyes said everything" Sun said, recalling that day.

"And then,......an hour later, we got a call from Chae Joon, he (Hae Jin) was dead. Only God knew what I went through when I found out this. Chae Joon was very angry with us too. He hated us for betraying his brother"

But,.....that wasn't the truth.

"And then,......a month or so before your fifth birthday, I found out the truth. I......I was cleaning the bookshelf in the room and I found it. The DNA test, stating you're not my son. I checked the date and it was two days after you were born. After Hae Jin died. Hee Young,.......she hid it in one of the books on the bookshelf just so, I won't find it. She knew everything but never said a word" Sun said.

He was still angry about that even know he knew if h found out earlier, nothing would have change cause Hae Jin was already dead.

Hee Young found out two hours or so after Hae Jin's death and she decided to do the test and find out if it was truth.

She told him this.

Meaning, nothing would have change if he found out earlier.

"I couldn't stay with her anymore so I left her. But I loved you and cared for you as my own son. I never hated you or thought of leaving you. I loved you and I still do. I didn't want to lose you but then, Hee Young refused to tell you the truth"

"Mom" Tae Jin said, tears streaming down.

It was never his father's fault like he believed.

It was his mother's fault.

Why did she do this?

"I admit I was angry when I found out. I hated her. I didn't want to see her. But......thinking about it,......I understand her. Don't hate her Tae Jin. She was just scared to lose me as well. She already lost Hae Jin. She was scared of you growing up without a loving and caring father. She was scared of raising you alone and failing"

"But she lost you anyways" Tae Jin said, angry.

"But you had a good childhood. You got some happy memories. Isn't that enough?"

No, it wasn't!

Cause he spent most of his days hating him (Sun)

Blaming him!

When it wasn't his fault.

*Sigh, he (Tae Jin) did not want to talk about this anymore.

Wiping his eyes with his hand, Tae Jin asked,

"When did you start seeing ghosts?"

"I and Hee Young, we started seeing ghosts after Hae Jin's death. At his funeral"

"That's crazy" he (Tae Jin) stated, surprised.

"I guess God wanted us to fix everything"

"But you did nothing wrong" Tae Jin said.

His dad,......was it a good idea to still call him dad?

Sun......wasn't his real father.

"Since then, we started looking for Hae Jin. We wanted to apologize but we couldn't find him anywhere and that's because he was trapped in this house. We were too scared to go back to the house. The memories, what Hae Jin went through,.......this is the very reason why we searched everywhere except this house" Sun said, looking back at the house.

"Who's my father? My real father?" Tae Jin asked, gaining his attention.

Looking at Tae Jin, Sun answered, "Hee Young won't tell. But I know, she knows who it is"

"It can't be Mr Shin right?"

"What?" Sun asked, smiling.

"You guys keep surprising me! I don't want another" Tae Jin said, a deep frown on his face.

"Definitely, is not him" Sun replied, smiling.

"You know what? I don't want to know my real father. You've been my father and you're all I care about. You're all I want as my father. So,.........do you still want me as your son?" Tae Jin asked, nervous.

He really wanted Sun as his father and really wish Sun wanted the same.

"Sure" Sun replied with a smile and he (Tae Jin) breathed out in relief, relaxing.

A smile on his face, he (Tae Jin) said, "Thank you"

"Now! Don't worry, Hae Jin,....... Definitely, he's in a better place now. Happy"

He really hope so.

Tae Jin thought, the sadness kicking in again as he faced down.

MORNING

Time (Around 8am)

"In the drawer, the one on the left side, open it, there's something there for you"

This was what Shin Hye stold him before she left to go see her dad who was now in his house and was not feeling well.

She left with Hyun Seo and Jay, he heard.

Shin Hye said his hyung left something for him in there.

Saying if he cross over right after saving him (Tae Jin), Shin Hye should tell him about it.

(Hae Jin told Shin Hye this on their way to save Tae Jin)

It was like his hyung knew.

Or maybe, he had a strong feeling.

Of course, he just found out everything.

All about his past life.

It was understandable that he had that kind of feeling.

He must have been scared.

Tae Jin thought with a sad look.

Seated on the bed, he opened the drawer Shin Hye told him about and was in shock to see what was in there.

"This........" He said, surprised as he took out the sketch book which was on a certain page.

Looking at it,.....he realized,

It was a drawing of him.

He was on his study table, studying, looking serious but his eyes said something else.

He could not focus.

This was the time Hae Jin got the sketch book from Shin Hye and decided to test himself.

His hyung drew him.

And he noticed, in his presence, he (Tae Jin) could not focus.

The drawing was beautiful it looked exactly like him.

Or maybe, more.

"Hyung......." Tae Jin cried out, holding the book.

"Tae Jin......" Se Jong's voice came through before the door opened and he entered.

Se Jong did not look good either.

Just like Tae Jin, his eyes were red, tears in them.

Hair messy.

And it looked like he did not sleep at all.

"Why Se Jong? He even forgot to take his precious treasure (The farewell letter Tae Jin wrote Hae Jin when he was 5) with him. The one thing he reminded himself not to forget even if he's crossing over. And he left it behind" Tae Jin said through tears.

Rushing to his side, gently, Se Jong lay his head on his shoulder, looking sad as well. "Tae Jin" he (Se Jong) called out to him, tears running down from his (Se Jong) eyes.

"I'll never see him again Se Jong. He's gone forever. Forever" Tae Jin cried out.

Gently, caressing his (Tae Jin) messy hair, Se Jong said to him, "No, they'll always live in our hearts. Always"

"Se Jong" Tae Jin called out to him, crying as he hugged his friend (Se Jong)

*Sigh,......am tearing up.

Sung Yoon: No one cares.
