"Their souls are attached? One? How?" Tae Jin asked in shock. This was the first time he was hearing something like this.

"This is the first time am hearing something like this!"

And he (Tae Jin) said it.

"Yes, their souls are one. But, they can separate from each other as well. Just that, Kim Boom doesn't like to. To protect his sister, he always keep her inside him"

What?!

"Kim Soo is his sister?!" And here he was thinking of something else.

Tae Jin: No.

"And how does this even work!" He was really confuse and he wasn't the only one.

I, the author, am confuse as well.

"Is unexplainable and I just found out that it can happen. Staying with them, Kim Soo came out of Kim Boom's soul many times"

Because she wanted to spend time with him (Hae Jin)

"When she's inside him, everything she talks about or hear, he hears it too. When she's inside him, and one of them speak, you can't tell who's speaking because the voice is that of a man and woman"

"I'm confuse here" and Tae Jin looked like one.

*Sigh, Hae Jin sighed, tired, this was really hard to explain and he can't find the right words to do so.

"When they're one, Kim Soo can come out, she's then be herself and you'll see her as a woman, that she is............"

Okay, what now?! This was so damn hard!!

Okay, he should just relax, Hae thought, breathing in and out.

Yes! He exclaimed happily when an idea dropped in mind.

"When they separate, each of them get their souls back"

"There'll be two of them? You can see Kim Soo, the woman and Kim Boom the man" Tae Jin said, he was still confused but seeing the smile on Hae Jin's face, feels like...... everything was better.

Hae Jin's smile really do wonders and right now, he can't think straight! 

That smile was all he could think about.

"Yes, is hard to explain but you got it" Hae Jin said with a smile, the words, 'I'm proud of you' stated clearly on his face.

What should he do now?! Tae Jin yelled in mind, looking down to avoid Hae Jin's beautiful face.

This.......was definitely the end of him!

How can he live without seeing that smile?!

"So, when I said Kim Soo came out many times, I meant, she separated herself from her brother"

Okay, he kind of......got it.

"How come they're like this?"

"To protect Kim Soo, Kim Boom trapped her inside him. He didn't want to lose his sister. He wanted to stay close to her. Keep her with him. He didn't want what happened in the past to repeat itself"

"And I guess it have something to with how they died" Tae Jin said.

"Exactly. Kim Boom couldn't protect her. She died and I guess he feels guilty too. Thinking he got another chance to protect her now, he trapped her inside him. To protect her, keep her safe, have her all to himself"

Have her all to himself? This.......this kind of sounded different. More like it had a different meaning.

Come to think of it,

Kim Soo wanted to cross over right?

"She's also a grade 3 evil ghost. She's.......... equally strong like him. If she wants to cross over, why doesn't she fight back? Rebel?" Tae Jin asked.

"Kim Soo doesn't want to hurt her brother. Kim Boom believe if they cross over, he'll lose her. They'll part ways. That's why he's doing all these. Even going as far as killing humans and consuming souls to get more powers"

"So, this is another reason........why he turned into an evil ghost"

Was he (Kim Boom) doing the right thing? To have someone, keep them safe, protect them, was this the right way?

And like Hae Jin heard his question, he answered,

"Kim Soo turned evil because she was inside Kim Boom. All the hatred, thirst for more powers, this drove Kim Boom to the pit. Turned him evil. And since Kim Soo was inside him, she turned evil as well. Kim Boom's emotions,......the evil in him overpowered the light in Kim Soo,....... and I guess she allowed it because if she fought back, that wouldn't have happened"

Well, it wouldn't have happened that easily, he (Hae Jin) guess.

"She allowed it because she didn't want to fight her brother. She submitted to the evil" Tae Jin said and he responded,

"Yes" before continuing,

"The more you kill, the eviler you become. The more souls you consume, the stronger you become. Kim Soo also became powerful because she was inside Kim Boom. All the souls, the energies Kim Boom consumed, it was divided into two because there was another presence into him. That's why they're equally strong"

"She asked for help?" Tae Jin asked. His hyung said something like this, right?

"Yes, and am so scared of Kim Boom......" No, that wasn't the only reason. In fact, the real reason was.........

"I don't want to see him, that's why I......... haven't granted her request yet" Hae Jin said, dismissing his thoughts.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you" Tae Jin said with a smile.

Seeing that beautiful smile of his, Hae Jin immediately calmed down.

All his fears disappeared and he couldn't help but smile as well.

"Well, thanks" he said. Tae Jin won't be able to protect him. He knew this.

He lacked the strength to do so but he still felt happy hearing it from him.

"So, when do you want to save them?" 

When?........well,

"I'm thinking.......we go tonight. She need help"

Even though he didn't want to do this..........he still had to go. 

Kim Soo was waiting for him.

She trusted him, believed in him, and that's why she helped him escape and asked for help.

He........He really didn't want to go back. But then..........Kim Soo will be disappointed. She might think he used her to escape.

She might think, he didn't care about her but that wasn't so.

He has come to like and care about Kim Soo a lot, after knowing her.

Their time together......was everything to him.

"Okay, I'll go with you" Tae Jin said, drawing him out of his thoughts.

"First bring back your things. You're coming back home" Hae Jin said, looking serious.

How cute, Tae Jin thought, a smile on his face as he replied.

"Okay"

"And don't do it again. Next time talk with me"

Cuts! His hyung looked so cute with that frown on his face.

"Sure" Tae Jin replied, staring at his hyung, smiling.

"Good" Hae Jin replied.

What happened must not happen again.

And he'll have to work hard so it doesn't happen again. Hae Jin thought.

"By the way, do you want to meet my mom? She wants to meet you"

His mom?

"Your mom?"

Why would she want to meet him?

He already knew, Tae Jin's parents had the ability to see and talk to ghosts as well.

But then.......why did she want to meet him?

No, the question should be, 

Was he ready to meet Tae Jin's mom?

Time (Around 7pm)

"Are you sure you remember the way to that place?" Se Jong asked Hae Jin.

He, Chae Joon, Tae Jin and Hae Jin were on their way to Kim Boom and Kim Soo's hideout.

They were going to help them.

Well, if course, Hae Jin and Chae Joon were going to do the helping. They were the hunters.

Had powers, Se Jong and Tae Jin were only humans and they didn't have the strength to fight Kim Boom, a grade 3 evil ghost.

Then again,................ they can't count on Hae Jin because he can't use his powers.

One can say, it was up to Chae Joon. 

"I'm following my instinct" Hae Jin answered. He doesn't remember the way because he wasn't awake when he was brought there neither was he awake when he was escaping.

But then,....... something was telling him where to go. Instinct? His soul's conscious?

He didn't know but he could feel, hear the directions he was given.

"Are you kidding me?" Se Jong said, annoyed.

They'll definitely lose their way.

"Uh, Se Jong, about the evil ghosts, how do you know the kind of evil ghost you're dealing with?" Tae Jin asked, angering Se Jong even more.

What the heck was up with him tonight?! For some reason, he was so angry!

And he (Se Jong) didn't even know why! He can't control himself either.

"This again?" Se Jong said, trying his best to calm down the anger but it wasn't working.

"I already told you" he said.

And he (Tae Jin) didn't pay attention but he won't tell that to Se Jong. Seeing how angry he was, he'll definitely snap at him if he said so.

"I forgot" Tae Jin went with this answer.

"How you forget something so important?!" Se Jong asked.

"Sorry"

See it was a good idea he didn't give that answer.

*Sigh, Se Jong sighed, he had to calm down.

"Grade 1 evil ghosts (Also know as evil ghosts) the colour of their powers is red. Grade 2 (Dangerous evil ghosts) black and grade 3 (Very Dangerous evil ghosts) red-black"

"Okay. What about the rewards?" Tae Jin asked.

"Seriously?" He told him everything so why was he asking again?!

This was so annoying!

"Sorry" Tae Jin apologized.

Why was he (Se Jong) so angry this evening?

Come to think of it,.........that angry look came on his face when they came down to the living room and found Hae Jin and Chae Joon laughing together.

For some reason, he didn't like it either but..........why was Se Jong so angry?

"The first reward is strength and energy. Second reward is the ability to show yourself to humans who can't see or hear ghosts. You can also make your aura disappear and then, you'll look like a human. No one will notice you're a ghost. Except ghosts, they'll sense you're one of them but then, they're be no prove"

Wow! This second reward really was helpful.

His hyung had to get it! Tae Jin thought with a smile. He looked at Hae Jin and realized he was watching him, smiling at him.

The moment their eyes met, Hae Jin looked away, blushing.

Was he staring at him just now? Well, not that he minded.

And..........

His hyung looked really cute when he blushed.

He saw it.

His ears sold him out.

Tae Jin thought, smiling at Hae Jin who won't look him in the eyes.

He was so embarrassed!

Tae Jin caught him staring.

"The last reward, you get to decide when and where you want to cross over. You can stay in this world for as long as you want. You can get all these rewards when you defeat three grade 3 evil ghosts. You won't get any reward when you defeat grade 1 or grade 2 evil ghosts"

Well, that sucks!

That meant, you'll only focus on defeating grade 3 evil ghosts.

That's if the rewards was what you wanted.

Was that a good thing?

"I wonder why you don't get the reward to touch humans without harming them" Tae Jin said.

What was the point?! If your love one can see you but can't touch.

What's the point of getting this ability when you won't be able to touch your love one?

"Don't you think you've got more benefits already?"

Se Jong was right. The hunter had a lot of benefits but then.......it won't hurt to ask for more right?

*Sigh, he should just drop this topic. Not like talking about it will give them (The hunters of evil ghosts) more benefits for their work.

............ Talking about evil ghosts, his hyung didn't tell him Kim Boom and Kim Soo's story.

What happened to them.

Maybe he should ask now.

"Ah, hyung, do you know Kim Soo and Kim Boom's story?" Tae Jin asked.

Right, he didn't tell him (Tae Jin). Se Jong and Chae Joon already knew about it.

"Yes, I do know. Kim Soo showed me everything"

"She pulled your conscious into her memories right? Without your permission" Chae Joon asked and it sounded like......he was angry.

*Sigh, Se Jong was really getting fed up with this!

Hae Jin......it looked like Chae Joon cared about him a lot.

"Yes, how do you know?" Hae Jin asked, a little surprised. He didn't tell him this.

"Don't do that again Hae Jin" Chae Joon said, a deep frown on his face.

"Why? She only wanted my help" Hae Jin said, a little confused.

It wasn't just evil ghosts? All ghosts can do that? This was the first time Hae Jin was hearing something like this.

"You can lose all your memories, gain their memories and then think you're them. If that happens, you'll lose yourself forever"

Then........he could have gain all of Kim Soo's memories and then, believe he was her?

"That's...... scary" Hae Jin said, suddenly feeling a little cold.

"Exactly that's why you shouldn't do that again" Chae Joon said.

That's why he was so angry with Kim Soo. Surely, she knew about this but she still did it.

This.....this could have harm Hae Jin.

"But......." Hae Jin began but Chae Joon cut him off,

"You're too soft Hae Jin. Is good but is also bad"

If an evil ghost finds out about this, they might take advantage of him.

This was why he still thought Hae Jin wasn't good to be a hunter of evil ghosts.

"Not all evil ghosts have little good in them. They can convince you to join them. Manipulate you to think they're doing the right thing by punishing humans who are doing wrong. Hurting and killing others."

"But I think Kim Boom did the right thing when he killed that bastard" Se Jong said, looking serious.

"Se Jong" Chae Joon called out his name to stop but he didn't.

"Didn't you hear what Hae Jin said? That bastard killed Kim Soo and he wasn't remorseful! People who kill others for fun, those who hurt others for no good reason......... Those kind of people deserve to be killed by their victims! They ruined someone's life! Killed someone who didn't deserve it. Took them away from their families, their love ones! And even though they get to have a new life as a ghost, they still lost their love ones. The ones they lived,...... survived for!" Se Jong said, looking sad and sounding like one.

However, the anger in his beautiful eyes didn't go away.

He was very anger

"Life.......when lost you can never get it back! And even if you do get it back, it won't be the same" Se Jong said.

He was right, but then, it wasn't in their hands.

Punishing or killing the person who killed you, harmed you or others does you know no good.

And evil ghosts were prove.

All the anger, hatred, thirst for vengeance......did they do good. It only corrupted their soul, their heart. The light in them.

Sure those people who committed such disgusting and wicked acts had to be punished.

But it wasn't them. 

Why? Because they'll lose themselves to the darkness, evil, which wasn't good. They'll find no peace.

Karma, God, the universe, they'll do the punishing.

And those people, will surely get punish before they die.

Chae Joon was sure of this. And he understood Se Jong.

Why he was talking like this.

Definitely, he was reminded of what his stepfather did to him.

His story, was somehow...... similar to Kim Soo's own.

"What happened to Kim Soo?" Tae Jin asked.
