Joyce sat opposite Ernest and stared into his eyes while trying to read his thoughts. Ernest evaded her intense gaze and looked at the sky.
“Isn’t it a clear sky today?” He had just finished saying that when the rain started to pour on them.
As he didn’t get any reply from Joyce, he said, “Let’s go inside. Who would know that it would start to rain all of a sudden? The weather in this forest is so unpredictable. Huff... huff...”
