Chapter 84

The Alpha fight ceremony had just begun and a big crowd sat across the open field to watch their performance. Anayka sat next to grandfather Ernest while looking around her for any sign of Drake.

After Drake left her in the dining room, she couldn't find him anywhere. At first, she went to their bedroom to check if he was waiting for her inside the room. But then there was no sign of him entering their bedroom.

She started to search the whole house until Betty came to her and said,

"He left the house long ago. Even if you search for the whole evening, you won't find any trace of him here. He did seem a little bit upset with you because you didn't show enough support when your mother was scolding him. I can understand his feelings, anyone would be troubled if their soulmates don't take sides with him. You were behaving very badly to him today by joining hands with Adele. You even thought of leaving him behind when he kept on begging you to take him with you."
