All hell break loose

Terry came back into Carmen's office an hour later, carrying so many papers in his hands that Carmen found it difficult to see his head.

“These are what you requested,” Terry said as he gently rested the folders on the desk.

Carmen leaned in her seat while staring at the papers in shock.

‘Dad must be insane. He knew about the Davis family deception and yet he was still willingly funding them?’ Carmen thought in dismay.

Terry remained silent as he watched her wonder in her thoughts. But after three minutes had passed without Carmen recognizing his presence, he knew that he had to say something.

“Do you need anything else, boss?” Terry asked.

Carmen abandoned her thoughts and gaze at him without displaying any expression on her face. Then she reached out for one of the documents, briefly read through it, and shut it close before staring back at Terry.
