Carmen stood still for a minute plus with her fingers gently pinching her dress. With all the complex emotions running through her, she didn't know how to react, so she stood numb while staring at Liam and Ali.
The coldness in her so-called best friend’s eyes made Carmen’s heart ache. She remained stiff for a few more seconds before taking two steps backward.
