Carmen lost focus when she heard her office door opened, so she gazed away from the documents on her desk and stared at her secretary.
“What's the update?” Carmen mumbled.
Chester hesitated for some time because he didn't know if Carmen wanted to hear the report he got and he also didn't want to upset her since he was a bit afraid of her temper.
