We stayed there near the dock under the tree until the sun began to descend and the damp Bayou air became more chilly. However, wrapped in Wyatts Beast’s arms, I felt the warmth and safety deep within as our energy mingled over our skin and fur.

“You know,” I said. “You're less of a monster and more like a big puppy.” He growled softly and I shrugged before pushing the big guy off and standing. He whined.

“We have work to do,” I said, and so the breaking of the curse began.

The prize wanted a path cleared so I did so with my claws. She had important work to do and as she followed me mumbling words of magic, she dragged a massive bag of salt around the area of the house in a circle. I felt the swamp answer. The energy was drawn to her and I knew that first full moon that she belonged here with the power we were entrusted to protect. Some lost reincarnated soul that belonged to it. That was an incredibly epic way to break the curse. I'm so glad that Bri added a candle for Naudia. I can't wait to see how this affects the future of the pack and their lands in the future. I'm also wondering if Landry and their neighbors will feel the curse being broken?!?
