LOGINSamantha's pov.
No.
He's bluffing, they wouldn't.
Not while I was seated there.
“Jenny, you don't mind, do you?” Adrian gruffed.
What the fuck?
It was the same blonde that screamed her throat out when I walked in on them.
Now she's cool with this?
I watched as she kissed his neck and bit the lobe of his ears softly.
“Ohh Adrian, I don't mind at all.” She cooed.
I jerked from the bed, I wasn't going to take anymore of this.
“Where are you going Donovan? Don't you want to watch?” Adrian asked.
I heard the girl burst into snickers as I slammed the door shut behind me.
They think they can make a fool of me, I'll show them
I stormed over to the dorm supervisor's room which was also along the hall.
Two soft knocks was all it took to get his attention.
His door swung open and I had to avert my eyes from his banana boxers.
Geez can the guys in this dorm put on some clothes for once.
“What do you want Samuel, I am busy.”
‘busy doing what?’ I almost barked.
I swallowed the rude words and composed myself.
“I've come to make a report.”
The supervisor sucked his teeth and stepped out
“If this is about changing rooms with Volkov, I already told you it can't happen.”
What?
So, Samuel has been making complaints before.
I shook my head gently.
“It's not that, but Adrian snuck a girl into the room, which is against the dorm rules, right?”
His eyes shone.
“Yes it is, lead the way.”
A wave of adrenaline flooded through my veins as I walked back, all smiles.
“They are in there.” I pointed at the door with a a mischievous grin.
Mr McLaren slapped the door so hard it drew the attention of the other boys from their rooms.
“Adrian Volkov, I know you are in there, open the door now.”
Inside was quiet, suspiciously quiet for my liking.
Mr McLaren raised his hands for another round of ramming.
The door locks clicked and open.
Adrian looked normal, even his hair was well arranged.
I followed Mr McLaren inside.
“How many times have I told you not to sneak Jenny in here?”
There was no sign of Jenny, Adrian's bed looked like no one has been on it.
It can't be, I left the two of them in the room.
Adrian ran a hand through his thick brown hair, his expression really calm
“Look around me McLaren, she isn't here.”
If that's true and Jenny escaped, then I am in serious trouble for disturbing me Mr McLaren.
Mr McLaren let out one long heavy breath.
“Jenny, I know you're in there, come out.”
A rustle came from the wardrobe, then a squeak.
Damn, she hid in there.
McLaren turned to face Adrian, he still appeared calm.
“You know the consequences Adrian, no girls allowed in the boys dorm.”
“Yeah yeah, I hear you.”
“Bathroom duty, a week.” McLaren said before leaving.
Dangerous silence weighed in the room after McLaren left.
Other guys stood by the door of our room observing the scene.
I overheard one of them say.
“Wow, Samuel actually did it. He's going to be so cooked.”
What was that supposed to mean?
I only reported something that made me uncomfortable.
Anybody in my shoes would have done the same thing.
“I bet he's not going to last the night.” The guy added.
“Let's give him a full day.” Another stated.
What made me most uncomfortable was Adrian's calm reaction.
His eyes rose above me and the guys scattered at once.
His gaze came back to me
“I warned you to stick to the rules.”
My shoulder squared as I responded.
“And I told you I won't follow your damn rules.”
His eyes twinkled, or did I catch something else.
“Okay.”
That was all, no insult, no threats.
Just a simple okay, and he was back on his bed scrolling through his phone.
That night, Adrian did not leave the room, he slept with his back turned to me.
Just that sense of being attacked kept me from sleeping.
My eyes were focused on his back, in case he decides to make a move.
“There's no point in staying awake, you won't see me coming.”
I stifled a gasp, he knew I was watching, which means he wasn't asleep yet
For the next few hours, I strained to stay awake and didn't even know when I eventually fell asleep.
I jumped out of bed with such quickness.
Adrian wasn't in the room, he must have gone to the locker room already.
Still, I can't let my guard down.
I went to the locker room as well, but I was already dressed.
To prevent what happened before from happening again.
The locker room was empty, by this time yesterday there was already a number of guys in here.
Something's not right.
My locker was open and when I looked in my heart sank.
Gear was trashed and torn, oil paint slipped out of my locker a volcano.
I fought back the urge not to burst into tears
Everywhere was messed up.
The guys were already gathered at the entrance, laughing and pointing at me.
“What's the meaning of this?” The coach roared.
I tried to explain that it wasn't me, he would have none of it.
“Save your explanations and clean this place before joining practice.”
Fuck, I don't even know where to begin.
This was all Adrian's doing, I know it was him.
“Chop chop Donovan, you don't want to be late for practice.”
Hearing his voice only made me rile up more.
My feet swept through the oil paint, o didn't mind the slippery feeling.
I stopped right in front of Adrian.
“You did this.” I charged.
There was a smug smile on his face
“Prove it.”
“You think this is funny right? You can't even get anything done without playing dirty. Do I scare you that much.”
“Ha ha, very funny Donovan. I like that you dream big.”
I shook my head, refusing to back down.
“That's the only reason you had the guys come at me on the rink. You see me as a threat.”
I don't know where this was coming from, but I was overflowing with enormous courage.
“Please, the last person that can ever threaten me is a Donovan.” He scoffed.
“How about a challenge.”
That got everyone's attention.
Adrian leaned against the wall.
“I love challenges, I haven't had one since forever.”
This was my chance.
“Good, I get better than you in hockey and you step down as captain of the team.”
Adrian's POVThe one person that kept me away from class that morning was Sammy. I just couldn't bring myself to look at her , or even talk to herWhen she tried to talk to me, I gave her an attitude. Geez. I don't even take this particular class. So, there was no harm in skipping it. My grades were doing alright.I went to the library, my latest escape haven. Pete left for class. My leg has got better, so he doesn't have to be with me anymore.I'd still put that word to McLaren, though; he'd make a great roommate. That's if he doesn't keep talking about Samantha. We already came to conclusions that he wouldn't make any moves on her.And she can join the hockey team if he and the teammates allow it. As hurt as I was, I wouldn't make a decision for the team. Not when they'd need an exceptional player like herShe was doing well in hockey already, with all the support I gave to her. There was no need for her to cause me harmI guess I was blinded by my feelings for her; gosh, I was alre
Samantha's POVIf anyone told me that I would be hatching a plan with Sharon, I would not have believed it.My goal was to come back to school, work my ass off to get into the hockey team again. But, this was a chance to get back at those people who ruined me before. The exposure did not really end badly though. Thanks to them, I get to play as a girl now, as myself. No more pretense. But the manner in which I was outed, it wasn't fair.I wasn't doing this to get back with Adrian. He fucked up for not believing in me and I don't intend to get back with him.As for Zeke and Jenny, they'd get what's coming to them, definitely.Sharon and I walked into school together. Everyone had that surprising look in their eyes.I expected that, and as usual, the boys had their jaws dropped. I get this happens whenever there was a new hot girl in the school.I wasn't even a new student, not to mention hot.It was as if Sharon read my mind."Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?""Excuse me, wha
Sharon's POVI stood over Sammy's bed, with my eyes full of tears that were threatening to spill.Zeke just called me crazy, and in front of that stupid girl he was seeing Jenny. I'd show them what crazy looks like.As much as I hated Sammy for stealing Zeke's heart in the first place, I can't really hold it against her. From what I heard, she held back against him, and he went ahead to start a stupid relationship with Jenny.Jenny of all people, and they made a fool of me when we had that fight.I'll make him regret doing that to me. In fact, that was why I came back.I'm no longer interested in Zeke. I'll make him and Jenny pay through their nose for what they did to me.Then after high school, I'll go back to France for college.Leave the city for them.Sammy was asleep and comfortably too. I saw the way guys frolicked around her in school today.Yet, she wasn't swayed by their new affection for her. I was kind of jealous. She knows how to not be carried away by their attention.Th
Zeke's POVI just found out that Samantha and Sharon are roommates, freaking roommates. How in the world am I supposed to handle that?Things might go out of hand soon, and that crazy bitch Jenny is always acting unconcerned about the situation. This might get me in trouble, not only with the school but with my family as well. The abandoned art room was no longer a place we could meet again; it's already busted.Although Adrian did not suspect that there might be anything other than sex between Jenny and I.It would be better to tread lightly. Pete could be on watch there, and only God knows how many people he must have told about that place. So, I brought out my phone and texted Jenny. The message was delivered, but there was no response.I could bet my left finger that she definitely saw the message. She's just ignoring it on purpose to get on my nerves. What could I possibly do to get her attention? An idea struck my brain, one I didn't like, but it was essential in this case."I w
Adrian's POVShe came back to school; after everything, she came back. To do what exactly? To make things worse, she has the nerve to step up to me.I sucked on my teeth as I tossed some books on the bed. Pete was in my room as well. He's been spending a lot of time here.I'm beginning to consider asking McLaren to make him my roommate. His presence in the room would do a world of good to me."Damn." He muttered as he dropped his backpack."What's wrong?""Why didn't you ever tell me that, Samuel? I mean, Sammy, right? That's what you call her.""Yeah, you can just call her Sammy. It's easier that way."He rubbed his hands together; excitement glistened in his eyes."You never told me she was that hot. I mean, she was your roommate; you definitely have seen her outside her school uniform and hockey jerseys."I raised a brow, confused at what he was getting at."Come on, Adrian, I want to know."Talking about Sammy was not my favourite topic recently."To be honest, she still dressed a
Samantha's POVThe second I stepped into the class, every activity stopped. The boys let out loud flirtatious whistles while the girls looked at me with scorn.I can't believe I am saying this, but life was so much easier when I pretended to be a boy.My eyes locked with Adrian's. I have imagined a million times what it would be like when we see each other again. His face twisted in a repulsive way. He still hates me for something I didn't do.I don't plan to make him believe me. He hurt me as well. I am back, but not for him. I wish him well. There was no space to sit. I scanned around the room, and it was just two empty chairs. One was beside Zeke. The other behind Jim. I already knew the one I would take.As much as it caused me discomfort, I was ready to put up with it. I'd rather deal with Jim than sit next to a betrayer. When the teacher came in, I planned to tell him to change my seat, but he noticed me before I could do so.He adjusted his glasses to get a better view of me."
Samantha's POV. Rushed whispers filed through the hall as Adrian and I walked side by side to class for the day.Hands pointed towards us. My hands tugged at the handle of my backpack really tightAdrian walked with his nose in the air. The nasty words they threw at us just bounced off his body li
Samantha's POV“I have been standing here for almost fifteen minutes. Where have you been?” Dad asked; immediately I was on his side."Sorry, Dad, guess who I met? Alex Volkov." I said with a huge smile plastered on my faceThe coldness in his eyes only intensified“Sammy, don't tell me you kept me
Adrian's POVIt's visiting day and the whole school was bubbly about it Well, not the whole school, but those living in the dorm, except for me.Donovan was packing some clothes to go wash in the laundry room.I guess she's also excited to see her mom and dad.She carefully tucked some clothes int
Adrian's POV. I totally forgot the shit that went down between Donovan and Jim.Now he was back in school, I knew that Jim wouldn't let it slide. He'd rather break his other arm than let Donovan walk away happily.“Jim, let's go somewhere and talk.”He shrugged me off with his good hand. “No, she
