"That's impossible!" Damian shouts in disbelief.
The tone of his voice causes me to flinch back, and Lucien gently presses me against him as he shoots a glare in his direction.
"How about some food now?" he asks me, trying to change the topic but Beau quickly steps in.
"Luce... we need to talk about this." he tells him.
"How about I take her to the kitchen while you guys discuss this. Levi can fill me in later. Besides, I am the best cook in this house.” Salem suggests calmly, as he made his way over to us.
"Alright…as long as you’re sure you don’t mind.” Lucien replies, making Salem let out a small chuckle.
"Of course not. It would be my pleasure." Salem states happily, before holding out his hand for me to take.
"Come on, Angel. I'll whip you up whatever your stomach pleases." he tells me, and I give him a smile as I try to stop myself from blushing at the pet name.
I give Lucien one last glance, making sure he’s good to handle this situation without me, before taking Salem's hand and letting him lead me out of the room.
He takes me down a long hallway that leads us to a set of large glass doors, and as soon as we step through them, I am taken aback by the large, beautiful kitchen before me.
"Holy fuck! This kitchen looks like it belongs in a Greek palace!" I exclaim, running my fingers softly along the white crystal countertop.
Salem chuckles as he walks to the other side of it.
"Not as beautiful as you, Angel, but I'm glad you like it. I designed the entire layout for our kitchen when we built the house. Now what can I get for you?” he replies with a smile.
"Hot chocolate with marshmallows, an option?" I ask.
"Of course, but I meant food wise." he retorts with a laugh.
"Honestly, I’m not very hungry.” " I admit, and he gives me a soft smile.
"Maybe something light for a small snack? I have a coconut cream pie I had last night, or…” he begins to tell me, but I quickly cut him off.
"Coconut cream pie please! It's one of my favorites and I can't even remember the last time I had it." I say excitedly.
"That’s funny, it’s Levi’s favorite too." he grins, before turning around and beginning to pull things out to prepare everything.
"You can sit wherever you like." he states, without looking back.
I slide onto one of the bar stools before continuing to make conversation. Salem was so kind, it made talking to him both easy and comfortable.
"Do all angels have this beautiful of a home?" I ask curiously.
"It’s up to each individual and their personal preferences. We are blessed with the ability and money to create whatever we want, when we want. For instance, since all six of us decided to build a large house together to share, each of us played a role in designing different areas of the house. The only thing we all decided on together was the location of where to build. We all wanted somewhere far from everyone else with a beautiful view, and being right next to a crystal-clear lake in the mountains was the perfect spot.” he replies, and I gasp.
“Wait! There’s a lake here?” I ask, and he chuckles.
“Yes. If you go through the dining room, and go out onto the balcony, you will see it." he explains, and I grin at the sudden idea in my head.
"Or perhaps you could take me to go see it up close instead." I suggest sweetly, and he turns towards me with a playful smirk.
"Perhaps." he remarks.
He makes his way over with a small plate and large black mug and I grin excitedly at the sight of pie and large hot chocolate with a full layer of mini marshmallows on it. Just as I go to take a sip though, my eyes suddenly notice the large letter M on it.
"It’s funny, I ordered a mug for everyone in the house with the first letter of their name and somehow accidently bought one with the letter M. I hadn’t even realized until the package arrived, and we had the extra mug… guess destiny was trying to prepare us for your arrival.” he explains, noticing my shocked gaze.
"No… I don’t think so… because that would also mean that I was always destined to be here.” I reply hesitantly.
"You most likely were." he states, but I shake my head as I suddenly felt sick to my stomach.
"No... because that would mean..." I begin to reply but stop myself.
He frowns at my sudden change in tone and makes his way around so that he’s standing next to me. He gently turns me around to face as he takes both of my hands into his softly.
"Would mean what, Angel?" he asks cautiously, and I bite my lip before looking deep into his beautiful kind blue eyes.
"That I was always meant to kill myself..." the words leave my lips so quietly, but I know he hears each one as he instantly wraps his arms around me, pulling me into a secure and comforting hug.
"I had never even considered doing it up until that very moment. I had woken up that day, expecting to celebrate my 19th birthday like a normal, until I suddenly heard my parents fighting like never before. Within minutes, I realized they were fighting over killing me and how they killed my older brother! They manipulated me for years into believing that he had just been a figment of my imagination. Come to find out, my own mother threw him off the cliff we had lived on all my life. I knew my time was limited, so I climbed onto our roof and quickly realized I had two options… and I chose the one that left my life ending in my own hands oppose to my mothers. I knew the moment I hit the water, I was a goner. My parents had never taught me to swim. So, I jumped and wished to be reunited with my brother and instead ended up in front of three Greek Gods! Now here I am, living as a reborn immortal angel with special abilities. If this is really destiny and was always meant to happen... then that's just fucked up in so many ways. It just wouldn’t be right. " I vent out, not even realizing the amount of tears that are pouring out of me.
"I am so sorry, Angel. This situation is fucked up, your right. I hate to admit that destiny has a terrible way of doing things this way… but listen to me...” he begins to tell me, as he gently cups my cheeks and tilts my head up to meet his eyes.
"You have all of us now, and I promise we won’t let any more pain come your way. We will be by your side, just like we are for each other. You’re one of us now and we always stick together and protect one another. You will never be alone in your troubles again. Do you understand? " he states with such sincerity and honesty, that I can’t help but believe in every word.
“Yes.” I reply softly, and he smiles before leaning in and placing a soft kiss to my forehead.
"Now enjoy that hot chocolate before it cools and get that pie into you and then you and me will take a walk down to the lake. Today marks the start of a new, bright, everlasting life.”
Today marked 375 years since the day I died and started my new adventurous life. You would think after this many years, I would feel tired, bored, stuck, but no. Never aging and having an endless amount of time has felt nothing less than amazing. Even after this many years, I still feel like I haven't had enough time in the world to enjoy my 6 amazing lovers, but thankfully I don't have to worry about running out.375 years has brought me many memories and experiences and I've been on more journeys then I can count, but I feel it's just helped prepare me for this very moment."Mila, darling... are you still with me?" Hera's voice rings through the air, snapping me out of my thoughts."Yes, sorry... this is a big moment for me." I murmur softly and she smiles."What is it I can help you with, darling? Don't be shy, you know after all you did to help me and support me through the war and even after as I settled into my new role as Ruler of all us gods and godesses that I will help you h
We all stood in a large circle with Crimson in the middle with a small table which only held a small bowl and a small uniquely designed dagger. One by one, starting with herself, Crimson sliced the hands of each of my lovers and I stood and watched as their blood dripped into the bowl. As Damian finished, Crimson stirred their blood around in the bowl with the dagger, chanting as she went. She proceeded to soak the blade in their now mixed blood before she stepped towards me with the bowl in her hand."I'm sorry, Kitten... but this is going to hurt." she tells me softly as I feel strong hands wrap around me from behind.Just as I recognize Damian's embrace, Crimson quickly but steadily plunges the dagger straight into my heart. Immediate pain radiates throughout my body before a burning sensation quickly replaces it and everything goes black.********************************************************************A soft melody flows through the warm air and as my eyes adjust to the brig
"Okay, Princess, what's on your mind?" Beau questioned, pulling me from my dazed state."Who said anything was on my mind?" I retorted playfully."Well, staring at the same tree for about 5 minutes is a dead give away." he replied as he sat down on the grass next to me."You've been watching me for 5 minutes? That's a bit creepy, Beau." I joke giving his arm a playfully punch and he simply shrugs his shoulders."You looked so beautiful even in your dazed state, plus I wanted to see how long it would take for you to notice I was there, but you were taking too long." he replies, and I blush."So, what's bugging you?" he asks, and I let out a small sigh."You ever get tired of making big decisions?" I ask and he chuckles softly."I think we all do after a certain point." he replies, and I nod my head."I'm conflicted about the bonding ritual Crimson wants to do with you all." I tell him truthfully."Well, maybe if you explain to me how you feel about it and what your conflicted about, I
When I arrived in Lucien's room, I made sure this time to not even give him an opportunity to say a word. If something else had suddenly popped up, it was going to wait as far as I was concerned.Straddling his lap, I quickly removed his shirt before smashing my lips against his and kissing him deeply. My hands roamed his muscular- toned chest as his hands laced themselves into my hair, holding me close as his tongue left his warm mouth and entered mine.As his mouth explored mine, I trailed my hands down to his jeans and began unbuttoning and unzipping them.Giving him one last kiss, I pulled away and climbed off his lap and he quickly followed suit and removed the last of his clothing before reaching out and helping me out of mine, leaving wet kisses all over my body as he did so.Before he could try and indulge himself though, I pulled him back up towards me before pushing him back down towards the bed.I got on my knees in front of his legs and ran my hands up his firm thighs befo
"Alright, Luce, I'm all yours." I announce as I walk into Lucien's bedroom.I had finished up my time with Salem and Levi and after a small nap and shower, I was finally back in Lucien's presence which is where I knew I needed to be most for both of our sakes... but more importantly, his."Unfortunately, not quite yet." his clearly displeased tone responds.Standing up from the bed, he steps towards me and pulls me into a tight embrace before quickly letting me go."Crimson needs to talk to you about something important and as much as I want her to have to wait, I do have to agree with her that the topic is important and it is for that reason only that I am going to sit back down and wait another hour... an hour and a half at most for you to go and hear what she has to say but after that come hell or high water your mine for a full, undisturbed, 24 hours. You got that?" he tells me, and I nod my head before leaning up to pull him into a deep kiss."I love you, Luce and I'm going to sh
After being bombarded with hugs, kisses and covered in tears of relief and happiness, myself and the rest of the group successfully left the Underworld without any further issues.Deciding it was best that myself, Hera and Aphrodite all stayed together until we took care of Zeus, Hera was kind enough to invite us all back to a hidden safe house where she believed we would all be safe and unfound by Zeus. The safe house as I had come to learn was more like a mini palace and apparently was completely covered with a cloak that kept us hidden from anyone else, all gods included. Hera wouldn't say who had helped her create such a large piece, but she assured us we had no reason to worry.Although extremely reluctant to let me go, I managed to convince Lucien that some time with Salem and Levi would be best for me to help get over the heat I had been dealing with for much too long. I knew most of the others were a bit bothered that I hadn't chosen one of them to help me first but the fact o
