Chapter 3

When I come to once again, I am no longer met with the sound of the ocean, and as I go to push myself up, I am met with a soft firm surface oppose to the sand I had been in before. I look around, taking in the light grey bedroom I have found myself in before slowly sliding out of the queen-size bed and making my way around the room, taking everything in.

I had no idea where I was or how I got here, but as my eyes land on a photo propped up on the dresser, the familiar appearance of a handsome man quickly has my memories flowing back. As they flood my mind, my heart instantly begins to race as I am all too quickly reminded of the recent events and my last conversation with him before fainting.

I continue strolling around the room as my mind tries to wrap around all the crazy information, I have learned in such a short span of time.

Noticing a cracked door, I push it open more to reveal an ensuite bathroom which I eagerly step into, taking a good look at my reflection in the mirror.

How in the hell was I, an immortal reborn angel, who was marked and given gifts from GREEK GODS?!

This shit was just to fucking crazy, but after everything that had happened, it was the only thing that made sense asides from me just being downright insane.

I turn away from the mirror, no longer able to look at myself the same and begin searching for some towels before stepping into the shower. I clean myself up before wrapping a towel securely around me and stepping back into the room.

I dig around the closet next, grabbing a men's shirt and boxers. I roll the waistband of them up as much as I can to keep them up around my waist, as the shirt lands just above my knees, before making my way out of the room.

I am instantly met with the sound of multiple voices echoing from down the hall, and without a second thought I decide to follow it. At the end of the hall is a large twirling staircase, and I quietly begin to descend them as the sound of the voices grow louder.

"I don't like this plan, at all." I hear a deep and firm toned voice mutter in annoyance.

"I don't necessarily like it either, but I do agree this is the best decision for this situation." Another slightly deeper and more firm tone replies, sounding very calm and collected.

"Guys, please. You know how important this is to me, and I literally started with almost losing her for good! Now she's been reborn, marked and gifted, and her circumstances are much more... unique, then usual. There's something different... no, special about her, and I have a feeling it might bring trouble. So, as my best friends, please, I need your help with this. You're the only other people I can trust with her, aside from myself." Lucien's familiar voice pleads with them.

"We will be here for you and help no matter what, Luce." A sweet-sounding soft masculine voice reassures him.

"That's right! Ignore Damian, and his asshole self. This is going to be fun and add some excitement around here, if anything! I'm personally very excited." A girl's soft and chipper voice exclaims.

I decide it's finally time to show myself and cautiously make my way from the stairs to the large entrance, which takes me into a large living room. I find Lucien and 5 other individuals seated around multiple large couches, which surrounded a beautiful fireplace.

All eyes are quickly turned towards me, as Lucien immediately gets up and makes his way over to me.

"Mila! I didn't realize you were awake yet. Are you hungry?" he asks, pulling me into a comforting hug and my body instantly relaxes into his warm embrace.

"I'm okay, thanks." I reply softly.

He pulls away a bit but keeps his arm wrapped around me before guiding me closer to the couches.

"Everyone, this is Mila. Baby girl, these are my best friends and your new roommates." he introduces, and I look up at him with wide eyes.

"Pleasure to meet you, Mila. I'm Beau." A charming tall, very muscular man with strawberry blonde hair and greyish blue eyes tells me, as he stands up and holds a hand out for me to shake.

I give him a sweet smile, as I reach out and shake his much larger hand.

"This is Crimson." he introduces next, letting me meet the only other girl in the room whose beauty was so intense it nearly left me breathless.

With long straight blood red hair and striking silver eyes that lit up the dark makeup around them, I took in every inch of her perfectly shaped face. Her black painted lips quickly pulling into a seductive smirk as she caught my gaze lingering, and I couldn't help but give her the same smirk in return.

"Damian." Beau continues, introducing another man with the same build as him but with opposite features.

Damian, unlike Beau, was covered in tattoos with pitch black hair and dark red eyes, that made me feel a mixture of both intrigue yet unsettled. Crimson's eyes were far from normal too, but they were bright and beautiful oppose to his which were dark, mysterious... and hungry.

"Levi." Beau introduces, referring to one of two handsome males sitting on a separate couch with their hands intertwined.

Levi was a bit shorter and thinner than Lucien, but he was drop dead sexy none the less. With light brown hair and dark brown eyes and a perfectly sculpted face, I knew I could stare at him for days.

"Lastly, Salem." Beau finishes, with what I could only assume was Levi's partner.

The shortest and thinnest build of all the boys, this man couldn't be compared to anything other than an angel. With snow white hair and sky blue eyes, he looked as dreamy as he did sweet. With a kind smile and eyes that made you feel safe at just a glance, I couldn't help but feel drawn to him.

Getting introduced to all these godlike individuals, had me feeling hot and full of lust and desire, and I knew living with them all was going to be a challenge.

"Nice to meet you all." I reply, my tone unintentionally coming out very seductively.

"Temptress." Damian states, his dark gaze piercing into me.

"You're not too far off..." Lucien mumbles, and everyone's eyes shoot over to him as Beau suddenly reaches out and gently grabs my arm.

"What the..." he begins to say, making everyone jump up and step towards me.

"What is it?" Damian asks sternly.

"She's been marked... by three." Beau murmurs, clearly both confused and shocked.

"Like I said... she's special." Lucien states.
