Chapter Seventy

[ Laura ]

"You're still awake?"

I looked at the door when it suddenly opened and heard the voice of the person I had been waiting for. When I saw him, I couldn't think of anything else but the worry I had earlier, what I thought might have happened to him while riding with a grudge.

"Are you crying?" His voice was soft with confusion.

I bent down and tried to dry my cheeks that were dry with tears that were now wet again because of my non-stop crying. I heard him walking towards me, I immediately closed my eyes when he willingly touched my two hands covering my face.

"Wife, stop crying... I'm sorry I left you here." he whispered, also trying to wipe my cheek.

Why is he like that, why isn't he angry anymore? After I told him something, he got to worry about me. I'm really the only one who causes trouble and fights between the two of us.

"Sorry..." I whispered hoarsely as I lifted my face to look at him.

"Sorry, Honsorry, I didn't mean to say those things, I don't really know how I said
