Chapter Thirteen

I've been out of work for three years. I did everything I could to make the kids and Eugene happy during those three years. Nothing special has changed in our relationship.

I'm not sure if he has feelings for me, but based on his actions and sweet words, it appears that he does. I'm not sure, despite how sweet and gentle he is to me if we don't give a label on our relationship. That's nonsense.
