Chapter 8

MIA

My chest hurt. I didn’t understand what was happening. I’ve never had these feelings before. But when Grey left me in the cage, I wanted to cry. I could tell he was angry with me. I did something wrong. I don’t exactly know what. I can only think it’s because he wants to be where I am and he can’t. The Alpha would never allow it. He doesn’t know the danger he’s in.

When he left, it made me very sad. I waited for him to come back, but he didn’t. Instead, others came for me.

A big man in a uniform. He grabbed me and took me to a room. I was scared. I wanted Grey. I don’t know where I am. Grey was familiar and made me feel better. Now, he’s gone.

I was taken into the room. I’m nervous and hide my face. The tall Alpha with long hair is scary. The dark haired Alpha is loud. The blonde haired Alpha is quiet which is OK. Then I see Alpha Lucius. I think he can help me. He can take me back to my village and out of here.

“Where am I?” I squeak.

“You’re with the outsiders.” Alpha Lucius say
