Livia’s POV

“Ouch,” I murmured, holding my head. Pain was the first thing I felt when I woke up.

Not just the dull ache of exhaustion but a deep, bone-crushing, soul-tearing pain that made breathing feel like punishment.

I groaned softly, my body refusing to cooperate as I forced my eyes open, looking around. This wasn’t my room, and it wasn’t anywhere I knew.

The air was stale, thick, suffocating, and dust clung to my skin, crawling into my lungs with every shaky breath.

The walls were cracked, peeling, abandoned, as if this place had been forgotten by the world itself.

Fear crawled up my spine. Where am I…?

“Ahh… she’s awake.” The voice was smooth, mocking, and disgusting.

My heart slammed violently against my ribs as my eyes snapped toward him.

The memory of the night starts flowing in as I begin to remember what happened during the night.

A man leaned lazily against the wall, a crooked grin stretching across his face. His eyes roamed over me like I wasn’t even human, like I was something to consume.

“Hi, sweetie,” he said, pushing himself off the wall and walking toward me slowly.

Who is he calling sweetie?” I murmured to myself, irritated by his attitude.

“Who wouldn’t want to fuck a Luna?” He said, thereby making me more irritated.

My stomach twisted violently and I tried to move, but my body felt heavy and weak.

“We are in the city, you know,” he continued casually, like we were having a normal conversation.

“Abandoned buildings and no one comes here unless they want to do something bad.” he said as he crouched in front of me, his grin widening.

I was confused as to why he was explaining where I was to me.

“And lucky for you…” he leaned closer, his breath hot against my face, “This place is under my control,” he added with a grin.

I flinched, turning my face away and he laughed.

“Oh, don’t be shy. Our Luna told me you are special.” His eyes darkened. “Said you have got a lovely taste. No wonder Zach didn’t let you go immediately.”

My blood ran cold as he mentioned those names. So, of course, it was her. It was Bella.

Hatred burned through me, sharp and violent as I thought about it.

“She wants your life to be hell,” he added casually, as if reading my thoughts. “And I’m more than happy to help,” he smirks.

I lunged at him or at least I tried to, but my body barely moved before he caught my wrist mid-air.

“Ah-ah…” he tutted, tightening his grip painfully. “You are in no position to fight, sweetheart,” he said with a wicked grin.

I struggled anyway, desperation fueling me but it was useless. My strength was gone as I could not even feel myself.

He shoved me back harshly, and I hit the ground with a pained gasp. “Pathetic,” he smirked and before I could react, he grabbed one of my hands and forced it above my head, tying it tightly to a rusted pipe.

“No!” I hissed, thrashing, but he ignored me.

Within seconds, one hand was bound, then he tossed a plate of food beside me.

“You will need your strength,” he said lazily.

“Wouldn’t want you dying too early. Where’s the fun in that?” he said, laughing.

I glared at the food, irritated by it. “I won’t eat it,” I snapped and he laughed.

“Sure you won’t,” he said and he walked away like he already knew I would lose.

The door slammed shut and silence followed immediately.

My eyes stayed locked on the food as my stomach twisted painfully, betraying me.

Hunger clawed at me like a beast, sharp and unforgiving. “No…” I whispered, dragging the plate closer with my free hand and with a shaky breath I flipped it.

The food was scattered across the filthy floor.

“I will rather starve,” I murmured to myself silently.

Minutes passed or hours that I didn’t know, but then the door creaked open again, and he walked in.

His gaze dropped to the floor and to the wasted food, then slowly, he smiled.

A dark and cruel smile. “Oh… I like you,” he said but before I could react, he grabbed my other hand.

“No, wait…!” I said pleasantly, but it was already too late.

He tied it down tightly, leaving me completely restrained. “Let’s see how long that pride lasts,” he whispered, leaning close. “You will eat eventually.”

He laughed again and walked out but the sound echoed long after he was gone as silence returned.

This time, it wasn't as empty as I could feel.

Something stirring inside me, my wolf.

I froze. “Hello…?” I whispered weakly.

For so long, there had been nothing, just silence and emptiness.

“They have been suppressing you…” I breathed, realization hitting me like a blow.

Zach and Bella. The injections.

“They didn’t let us connect…” A faint presence answered. It was weak but their relief flooded me so suddenly I almost cried.

“My wolf…” I whispered, tears slipping down my temples. “You are still there…” My senses sharpened slightly, not fully, but enough and then I smelled it.

Someone was passing by as hope exploded in my chest. “Help!” I screamed, my voice cracking. “Please, help me!” I said with tears in my cheeks.

Footsteps paused, and my heart began to race. “Yes! Please, I’m here…!”

Then, they continued walking like I didn’t exist.

“No… no, please!” I screamed louder, panic rising. “Help me!”

Nothing came! No one came, no one cared as my voice broke.

My strength faded, and slowly I stopped. Tears slid silently down my face as the truth settled deep in my bones.

Help wasn’t coming, not now and not ever. A hollow laugh escaped my lips.

“I shouldn’t have run…” The words tasted bitter, but realisation began to fall in.

“I should have stayed and endured it…”

Zach’s cruelty and his coldness were nothing compared to this.

“At least I knew him…” I whispered. “At least I wasn’t here,” I murmured with regret.

At the mercy of monsters, the door burst open, and my body tensed instantly.

He was back, but this time, he wasn’t alone. Three more men walked in behind him.

They are big, muscular, and deadly.

Their eyes locked onto me, and I felt it. That sickening hunger. They didn’t see me as a person but just as prey.

“Damn…” one of them whistled. “She’s even prettier up close,” he murmured, biting his lips.

“She will last long,” another said, grinning. “We can take turns.”

My blood froze hearing those words. “No…” I whispered, and they all laughed.

One of them stepped forward. “Take off your clothes,” he said, almost like a command.

I shook my head violently. “No.”

His expression darkened. “I said…”

“I said NO!” I screamed, and he lunged at me, grabbing my clothes roughly.

I struggled wildly, kicking, thrashing, fighting with everything I had left. “Get off me!” I screamed. “Don’t touch me!”

A sharp crack echoed as pain exploded across my face, and I hit the ground hard.

I felt dizzy, disoriented as they watched me and laughed.

I barely registered the sound as I curled slightly, my hands instinctively trying to cover myself.

“Look at her,” one mocked. “Trying to hide.”

“Pathetic.”

Tears blurred my vision. This was it. This was how it ended, broken, helpless, and destroyed.

They moved closer, and one other person came from nowhere and reached for me.

“Stop.” The voice was calm, cold, and deadly, and everything froze almost immediately.

The men turned slowly as they looked at him. “Who the hell are you?” one of them snapped.

Silence filled the building, and then his muscular voice echoed.

“Alpha Hayden,” he said with all confidence as the name dropped like a bomb and everything changed.

Fear flashed across their faces by the men's “Nightwing pack…” another whispered.

And just like that, they ran.

No hesitation, no pride but just pure fear.

I blinked weakly, my vision blurring as a figure stepped forward. Tall, powerful and commanding.

His presence alone filled the room as he didn’t look at them but only at me.

His eyes softened just slightly. “Easy,” he said quietly with a soft voice and for the first time since I woke up… I felt something shift, not fear

, not pain but something else.

But before I could process it, darkness swallowed me whole and I let it because for once… It didn’t feel like falling but it felt like escaping.

Chapter 111Livia’s POVThe moment the Beta carried Bella out of the mansion, everyone thought it was simply to remove the chaos she had created, but that was far from the truth. There was a hidden plan in it.The Beta tightened his arms around her struggling body while his expression remained cold and unreadable as he took her out.Bella had been too busy cursing, threatening, and trying to scratch his face to notice the tiny piece of modeling clay hidden beneath the beta's glove. It was just one touch that was all we needed, but Bella gave him far more than that.Earlier, the cup I held had already been prepared with latent fingerprint material, and Damian had insisted it was necessary in case the clay failed. We had planned every detail carefully, expecting resistance and difficulty, but instead… Bella practically handed us everything so easily.***Back to the present.I stood beside the large monitor in Damian’s study, my arms folded tightly across my chest, while Damian careful

Bella’s POVMy fingers dug into my bag like claws tearing into flesh as I searched my bag looking for the items that I had come with.“No… no, no, no… this is not possible,” I muttered as I became restless and furious. My breath came in sharp, uneven bursts as I overturned everything inside the bag but could only see my lip gloss, a compact mirror, and a folded scarf. Nothing else was inside the bag. There was no phone, the vial wasn't inside, and no ring box. The bag looks so empty that I began to wonder if that was the bag I took along to Livia's place. At that moment, nothing mattered to me again as I became so confused and bitter. My heart slammed violently against my chest, each beat louder than the last, echoing in my ears like a war drum.“I had it… I had it!” I muttered uncomfortably. My voice cracked, rising into something almost feral. I froze, my eyes darting, trying to retrace every second, every movement, and every glance.I thought about the car, the road, and the numb

Livia’s POVI watched as Alexa stared at the journal, as it had personally offended her. Out of the things I took from Bella, it seems the journal was what took her interest the most.“Is there anything that matters?” I asked, looking at her for an explanation.“Oh, I already know what’s inside,” Alexa scoffed, folding her arms. “Pages and pages of Bella crying, whining, and cursing your name. I can feel the bitterness from here,” she says.I narrowed my eyes. “Then open it.” Alexa tilted her head slowly, a sly smile creeping onto her lips. “Eager to die, are we?” she asked calmly.“I’m not scared of ink and paper,” I said boldly, staring at her.“Poison isn’t always visible, Livia,” Alexa snapped sharply. “And Bella isn’t stupid, just insane.”But before I could react, Alexa snatched the journal from my hands. “Hey…” I muttered.“I said I don’t want you dead yet,” Alexa cut in coldly. “At least not from something this pathetic.”I clenched my jaw, irritation flashing across my face,

Chapter 108Livia’s POVThe pain came in waves, sharp, merciless, and unforgiving. A broken wail tore from my throat as I staggered into the room, my body trembling, my face still burning from Bella’s strikes. Every step felt like I was dragging shards of glass through my veins. I barely made it to the bed before collapsing onto it, clutching my side, breath uneven.I was just lying there staring at the ceiling when the door suddenly creaked open, and laughter followed. A laughter that was bright, carefree, and completely out of place.“Wow…” Alexa’s voice dripped with mock admiration as she leaned against the doorframe, arms folded, eyes scanning me from head to toe. “What happened to my beautiful Livia?” she asked, looking at me as I laid on the bed like a lifeless body.I shot her a glare through teary eyes, my lips trembling from both pain and irritation.“Don’t…” I winced, gripping the bedsheet tightly. “Don’t start, Alexa.” I muttered out trying to suppress the pain I was feeli

Chapter 107Bella’s POVThe sight of Livia on the floor, looking weak, trembling, and reduced, sent a thrill through me so sharp it felt like victory itself. Then I laughed, not softly, not politely, but loud, raw, and unrestrained, but was careful enough not to draw the attention of her guards.“You called off your guards?” I scoffed, pacing around her like a predator circling prey. “Livia… Livia…” I shook my head slowly. “For someone who acts so powerfully, you can be unbelievably foolish.”She didn’t answer because she couldn’t. Her body curled slightly, fingers still clutching her head, breath uneven.“Look at you,” I continued, my voice dripping with mock sympathy. “The great Livia… brought down by her own arrogance.”I nudged her with my foot, but no response. That only made me grin wider.I kicked her again, harder this time around but her body rolled slightly across the floor, a faint gasp escaping her lips.“Yes,” I breathed, laughing again. “That’s it… feel it.”Another kic

I refused to let her see even a crack. She’s ruining everything I had built. Every careful step, every sleepless night spent planning her fall, and yet there she was sitting across from me like a queen on her throne.Feeling untouched, unbothered, and unbreakable. My fingers curled slightly against my lap as heat surged through me. Rage, jealousy, and hatred burned so deep that I could taste it.No… not unbreakable, and not tonight.Livia lifted a glass and slid it toward me with slow, deliberate grace.“Don’t reject it this time,” she said smoothly, her voice soft but laced with something sharp.
