LOGINLouis caught up to me once we were outside of the office building, I looked up as he placed his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him.
“You may not have agreed to be mine, but I’m yours.” He whispered in my ear making me shiver as goosebumps prickled across my skin.
“Louis,” I chided as he guided me into the shopping center.
“Yes little one?” he said with a smirk, I felt his fingers tracing across my shoulder, the heat of him seeping through my clothing. Had he always been this warm?
“What did the elders want earlier?” I asked, my curiosity finally getting the better of me.
“You don’t ask the easy questions,” he sighed as we walked, “Suffice it to say that our Vega asked Marcus to mate with her.”
“What?” I stopped in my tracks and looked up at Louis.
“She wanted Marcus to become her mate.” Louis repeated.
“That’s what I thought you said, what exactly does that mean?” I asked biting my lip as shoppers moved past us.
“When a dragon picks a mate, it’s for life. She wanted Marcus to choose her, so she could bear his young and hopefully breed more dragons. We’re pretty rare you know?” He said with a slight smile as he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.
“I guess so, I mean I thought dragons were myths until a few hours ago.” I said as his fingers trailed down my neck making me shiver even though I wasn’t cold.
“I’m glad you understand Amelia.” Louis said brushing his thumb over my cheek before reaching down to take my hand in his.
Did I understand what he meant? No, not really. I mean I get not wanting to be attached to someone for your entire life and basically being a sperm donor. So I could understand why Marcus would turn Vega down. What, did that mean that Louis and Marcus wanted to take me as their mate.
I mean, that was a super big step and one that I didn’t think I was ready for, I looked down at out clasped hands as Louis led me into a boutique.
“Louis, not that store.” I said trying to pull my hand away from his.
“Why not that one?” He asked looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
“I can’t afford anything in there.” I said motioning to the expensive short dress that was hanging in the window, “Those are all designer items, can we go somewhere else?”
“I think we should go here, it’s my date with you little one and I want to treat you.” He said stopping to look down at me, his smile soft as his eyes sparkled in the light.
“Louis,” I pleaded, he brought his hands up and cupped my cheeks.
“Let me spoil you Amelia.” He said and I had the feeling that I was in over my head.
“Fine, but we go somewhere else for the shoes.” I said with a pout and his smile widened as kissed my nose.
“I know just the place, now come on let's find you a dress.” He said pulling me into the store.
Walking into the boutique was like walking into another world. I walked up to a black dress that was simple in it’s cut and I hoped wouldn’t be too expensive. Looking at the tag proved me wrong and made me grimace, how could anyone justify paying such an outrageous price for a dress.
“Do you like that one?” Louis asked as he started sorting through the dresses picking out ones that he liked.
“It’s not bad,” I said moving to another rack hoping to find something less expensive. I knew Louis could afford those dresses, but I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of him spending that much on me. I looked at another tag and I heard him let out a sigh.
“Stop looking at the tags little one,” he said and I looked up trying to hide my guilty expression. I watched as Louis flagged down a sales associate and asked her to get a dressing room ready for me. He handed her the dresses in his arms and I couldn’t help but frown.
“Why did you grab so many dresses?” I asked raising an eyebrow as I worried my lower lip.
“So I can see how you look in them, humor me?” He said walking up to me, he put his hands on my shoulders and turned me towards the dressing room giving me a gentle shove. He grabbed another dress and handed it to me as he moved to sit on one of the white leather chairs just outside of the changing area.
Clutching the dress in my hands I walked into the dressing room, the brunette attendant smiled at me a perfect toothpaste commercial smile.
“If you need any help with anything, please let me know,” She said as she finished hanging up the dresses and stepped out of the small room, closing the door behind her with a soft click.
I nervously ran my hands across the smooth dark fabric of the dress in my hands, lifting it up to hold it against my body. I bit my lip as I tilted my head, what did they see in me that made them want to spoil me?
I hung the dress up and kicked my heels off as I studied myself, I wasn’t slim like the other ladies in the office my stomach had never been flat and probably never would be. I unzipped my skirt looking at the curve of my hips flaring out from underneath my blouse. I had great legs, and my heels made them seem even longer.
I unbuttoned my shirt and let it fall to the floor, my breasts were full and round. I turned away from the mirror and glanced at the birthmark that rested on my lower back, it’s strange trailing shape had always made me feel too self-conscious to wear anything too revealing. I slipped the dress over my head and smoothed out the figure hugging fabric.
Looking into the mirror I frowned, this dress was way too low cut for me dipping down the center of my cleavage showing the purple lace of my bra. It was much too short falling at the top of my thighs, I tried pulling it down, but that just made the top go lower. I slid the zipper closed as I heard Louis cough outside. I peaked my head out of the door.
“ I can’t come out in this.” I said, looking at him as he played with his phone.
“Yes you can little one, I promise I won’t tease you.” He said looking up from his phone with a smirk.
“You’ll tell me if it looks bad?” I asked.
“I will always be honest with you.” He said and I opened the door up and slipped out showing him the dress, my cheeks flaming red.
Chapter TwentyMarcus’ hand rested at the small of my back as he led me into the boutique. It was much different than the ones I had been to before, this one felt classy. If you could call a shop where they sold ball-gags sexy.We were greeted by a salesperson, he looked at Marcus and then at me. His full lips quirked up into a smile as his gray eyes met mine, his long wavy auburn hair looked soft to the touch.“Good evening, what can I help you with?” His voice was a deep rumble that I could feel all the way down to my toes, my eyes widened as I looked over at Marcus.“You can relax Sin, Amelia is mine.” Marcus said his eyebrow lifting and I could almost feel the warning he was sending Sin.Sin, I could understand why he was called that. He looked like a walking sin, his long lean legs encased in tight black leather pants. His white button up shirt held closed by two buttons, when he turned I could see the brief glimpse of toned, taunt muscles. He had on a silver chain from h
Chapter NineteenI sat down my wine glass as I avoided Marcus’ gaze. How could I tell him about what I knew without sounding like some sex crazed manic? Which given how Louis and Marcus had been behaving today wasn’t far off from the truth.“I know a bit about BDSM.” I said, biting my lip as I looked at him through lowered lashes.“Safe, sane, consensual. If I don’t have your consent, I won’t try and engage in that type of relationship with you.” He stated and I couldn’t help but smile. “I’d very much like to be your dominant though.”I felt my heart beat faster and the butterflies swirled to life in my stomach at his words. “I’d like that as well,” I said, my eyes meeting his as he reached across the table to take my hands.“Tell me Amelia, what do you like?” He asked and I could feel the blush flaring to life in my cheeks, the flutter of arousal stronger than before. His eyes darkened and I knew that I wasn’t just talking to him, but his dragon as well. Our waitress sh
Chapter EighteenSitting in Marcus’ car I couldn’t help but run my hand over the soft leather seat, it was soft and supply. His hand reached for mine and I realized I hadn’t been as subtle as I thought as I peeked over at him. He smirked at me and I felt the blush flooding my cheeks that was becoming all too familiar.“So where are we going?” I asked as he rubbed his thumb across my knuckles.“Just for dinner, I wanted to discuss some things with you before our relationship progresses.” He said looking back at the road and I couldn’t help but wonder if it was about the rumors I heard. I bit my lip and smiled as I looked down, I knew I wanted it to be.Marcus seemed like he would be a good dominant, I knew from the way he carried himself, to the way he spoke, he liked being in control. He moved our hands so my fingers were woven with his, his thumb caressing my thumb softly as he navigated the sleek black sports car through the dark streets. When he stopped in front of the res
Chapter Seventeen“Hello Marcus,” I said as I opened the door, I stepped to the side as he came in.“You look beautiful Amelia.” He said as he stepped into my home, I felt my cheeks heating up with a blush as his eyes moved from my bare feet all the way up my body. When he looked at me like that I could feel the same tightening in my lower belly that I always felt when he was around me, he stepped closer and I could smell the clean scent of his cologne and underneath that a smell that was uniquely Marcus. He leaned past me and closed the door.“You look very handsome,” I said looking up at him, he was in black slacks with black button up shirt. The sleeves rolled up and I saw tattoos peeking out from beneath the dark fabric, I felt my eyes widen. In all the time we had worked together I had never seen the tattoos, then again it was rare that he ever took off his jacket at the office, and I had never seen him roll up his sleeves.I wanted to trace my fingers across his skin and
Chapter SixteenWe stood in front of my apartment door as I looked up at Louis shyly, he smirked as I fumbled with my keys. Should I invite him, would that be weird for him to be here while I got ready for my date with Marcus?“When you look at me like that, little one.” He said grasping my hand with his free one, “It tests myself control.”“What do you mean?” I asked biting my lower lip, he let out a groan and stepped closer.“You don’t know what that innocent gaze of yours does to me do you?” He asked leaning closer to me.“You could show me,” I said, my lips quirked up as I tried not to smile up at him. “Are you trying to get me to kiss you?” Louis asked as he piercing gaze lowered to my lips.“I might be,” I answered, bringing my hands up to the lapels of his jacket and I pulled him closer to me.“You want a kiss?” He smirked at me.“Isn’t that the way to end a good date?” I asked biting my lip as I looked up at him through lowered lashes, the heat of his breath playing a
Chapter Fifteen“Louis no,” I gasped as he asked the sales girl to grab another pair of shoes.“Little one, I’m having fun. Let me have my fun,” his lips quirked as he ran his palm down my calf, his nostrils flaring as he scented my arousal and I felt my cheeks heat up in a blush that I was sure wasn’t going away anytime soon.“You’ve already had me try on five pairs, at this point I think you’ve got a foot fetish.” I said, raising my eyebrow as his hand trailed up my calf and to just above my knee, I grabbed his hand, my eyebrows shooting up to my hairline.“I think it’s safe to say that it’s not a foot fetish, but an Amelia fetish.” I was glad the sales associate wasn’t here as he leaned forward his eyes on my lips, my tongue darted out moistening my lips. He groaned low in his throat and I bit my lower lip, looking at him through lowered lashes.“Are you thinking about kissing me Louis?” I asked leaning closer to him, the smell of him, of his cologne making my mouth water. “
