Her eyes flicked over to the running water and back to Puca. She was afraid of what might happen in the shower as her toes sunk into the plush bathmat.
“Are you joining me?” He asked, his tone commanding yet giving her the chance to say no if she wanted to.

“Nothing will happen. I know you fed will with Bodach.” Puca said, bringing his hand up to run his fingers over her cheek with a feather-light touch that made her eyes flutter shut and her heart thud quicker in her chest.
