CHAPTER TEN

Thane stared at the unconscious figure on the bloodstained sheets and felt a pang of guilt hit him. He was done with her. He grimaced when his heart suddenly started to ache painfully. The guilt was so intense that it began to hurt.

He frowned confusingly and raised a hand to rub that spot gingerly. He caressed the part of his chest that the heart is located, but nothing worked to soothe his pain.
