Alpha Thane was starting to become anxious where he sat. The filled cup of Spluch he kept refilling once emptied was starting to become warm since he’s yet to drain out the content.

It took every ounce of his muscle to refrained his yearning body to care for Kory when she got shot not to do it. His wolf didn’t do a better job.

Absolutely giving in and multiplying his will to get up and show his care, how moved he was by the shot piercing her stomach.

As soon as he suggested for her to go clean herself up in a restroom, he mind-linked one of his guards to follow her and make sure she’s alright.

Meanwhile, he had his eyes roaming round the hall, the culprit who shot his mate wasn’t about to get off free doing that.

No one looked the least suspicious, minutes had gone by and Kory hasn’t returned from wherever she went to clean herself up.

Thane stepped down from the stool he sat on, picking on his wolf senses that something had gone wrong somewhere, someplace that he co
