Kory felt the banging sensation shot through her system, hitting like a substance whirled into a tornado. Her palm located the spot and she rubbed on it, blood smearing her hand and painting it red.

Like she had predicted, the bullet was silver and her wound wouldn’t just hurt ten times the normal, but she’d be unable to supernaturally patched herself up.

“Remove the bullet, and heal yourself.” Thane simply instructed, barely affected by the sight of his mate in agony.

His indifference was shocking and not at all to Kory, he had said to her the reason why he brought her with him to this slaughter club, so why in his good name would he help her when she’s in so much pain.

Kory gasped with painful grunts falling out of her lips.

She managed herself off the stool she’s sitting on, grabbing her hand purse and she attempt staggering her way out of his sight.
