CHAPTER EIGHT

"How did this happen, what am I going to do now" Olivia said to herself.

She leaves her room and goes to the dinning room, there Antonio has taken his seat and same goes for Austin while Dolores sets the food prepared for them on the table.

Olivia ashamed of herself couldn't make eye contact with her.

"Olivia come fast and let's eat this delicious food prepared for us by Dolores" Antonio said.

"Mi hija, come and sit" said Dolores as everyone was surprised on hearing her speak English.

"Dolores, sabe hablar inglés?" Antonio asked.

"Si señor, pero solo un poco"

"Olivia isn't that great, she's finally able to converse with us in English and soon she's going to be an expert"

"What's so special if she can speak English, how does really even affect you and Olivia could you please sit down, I'm famished" said Austin.

"Austin please mind your tone and treat Dolores with respect" Antonio said.

"Okay whatever, just let's please eat.....'Olivia for crying out loud, take your sit we are literally waiting for you so sit down' " Austin said in an angry tone.

Olivia shrieks and quickly takes her sit.

"Thank you, now Dolores or whatever you want to call yourself please serve us the food"

"Hey Austin, tone!"

"Okay okay, I'm sorry"

"Dolores don't dish the food, we've finally found out you can speak English so join us and eat we'd really appreciate" Antonio said.

"No please let me do it, plato para todas entonces me uniré a ti para comer"

"Okay no problem since that's what you want"

"Gracias mi hijo"

"You're welcome"

She dished food for both Antonio and Olivia.

Austin expecting her to dish for him, she purposely falls down and pours his share of the food away.

Antonio rushes to her and carries her up while Olivia stands up out of shock.

"Me duele mucho la espalda" she cried out though nothing happened to her.

"Sit down here, relax, Olivia go bring the first aid box" said Antonio, Olivia stood there in shock and didn't move an inch.

"No there's no need for that, mi hijo"

"There is your back hurts right, then you need pain killers, let Olivia get the first aid kit" Antonio said as he notices Olivia is still standing there lost in her own thoughts.

With rage he yells"Olivia! What the heck are you still doing there, go" she gets herself back together and goes gets the first box.

Austin was furious hearing his brother yell at Olivia as he immediately followed her.

"Olivia" she turns hearing her name and he takes her into a quiet room where they can be alone.

"Olivia, what's wrong with you? Ever since that maid found out about us you haven't been yourself"

"She's not a maid, please respect her and I'm fine, just still trying to digest all this"

"Okay fine but don't you think the way she found out about this is suspicious, the door was closed and she normally knocks door be4 entering so why was it at that time things changed, isn't that something to think about"

"Oh please shut up, she sees me as her daughter so she doesn't necessarily have to knock all the time and that wasn't the first time she's entering my room without knocking, how she found out was coincidentally besides sooner or later everyone is going to find out, when a total stranger has found out about us quickly, it's a matter of time that our relationship will soon become an open secret"

"Yes about that person, what happened, he said that he was going to come back but where's he now"

"Really so the whereabout of that person is your problem now, you're meant to be happy we haven't heard from that person"

"Yes but still we can't let our guards down, come to think of it just what if that person told Dolores about us or the person is Dolores and she has just being pretending all along, yes, yes, I knew from the start that woman wasn't to be trusted"

Olivia infuriated by what he said" shut up, just shut up okay, what proof do you have to question her like that, just please stop saying bad things about her and from now on keep your opinion to yourself , you can only tell me this when you have solid evidence to back yourself up but till then keep it to yourself I'm not interested to listen" she slams the door behind her.

"Proof she says, I'll get her proof, she doesn't just understand that she shouldn't trust everyone blindly like that, I'll show her" he leaves the room and goes to the dining room.

There Olivia and Antonio both attend to Dolores' wounds, Austin comes "sorry Dolores and goodnight everyone, I'm not hungry anymore" he leaves them alone.

"Dolores is it only your back that's paining you, can you stand or even walk?" Antonio asked.

"No mi hijo, my right leg is paining me"

He opens the first aid kit and takes a pain relief balm to rub on her leg, suddenly his hands begins to burn him.

"Mi hijo, what's wrong" Olivia also rushes to his aid.

She collects the balm and to see what are the things in it" oh no, this balm contains menthol and you're allergic to it, how did we forget that"

Antonio's palms have turned red, Olivia feeds him a glass of warm milk to cool the burning sensation.

"Mi hijo, you won't be able to eat, let Olivia feed you"

"Okay but that's if she's okay with that"

"She's your wife, that's her, umm…."

"Duty!"

"Yes mi hijo, duty"

"Olivia, well are you cool with that?" Antonio asked.

"Yeah no problem"

Feeding him, he gets lost in her eyes while Dolores gladdens at watching her feed him with love.

"Estos dos son el uno para el otro, ellas solo tienen que darse cuenta" she said in her mind.

Antonio is still gazing at her as she notices his eyes were on her and she gets lost in his eyes. They both begin to list at one another.

Austin from the top stairs notices them and drops the glass jug.
