CHAPTER FIVE

"Hello, who is this?" asked Olivia

"Well well, don't you know me, I'm a very close companion" said the person.

"Companion? I can't follow up"

"Yes, I'm a familiar person, just think, try to remember"

"I can't draw up a conclusion of who you are, so could just tell because you're starting to irritate me"

"Okay fine, I'm Austin"

"Austin? when did you change your number and aren't you at work?"

"Yes so what?"

"Oh really, isn't your brother with you?"

"Yes he his"

"What if he finds out about us?"

"You don't have to be afraid, he already knows, I told him and he's cool with it"

Olivia chokes on her breath.

"What!" she exclaimed.

"How, when and why? I don't get it"

"You don't have to rack your head around this too much, just chill"

"This is so shocking, I can't still believe this"

"Oh yes you can"

"But wait, why call with a different number?"

"I did this just to surprise you"

Someone touches her waist, she turns around and for some reason freezes.

With the phone call going on, she says "Au_Au_Au_Austin" and looks at her phone.

"What happened, you look like you've seen a ghost"said Austin.

"Uh uh uh, did you call me, like I mean weren't you at work already?" asked Olivia.

"We were about to leave but I came to tell you bye and take some office papers"

"But you called me, like we were talking,take a look" showing her phone to Austin, he saw nothing, the person had cut the call.

"Olivia there's nothing here, are you alright?" he asked.

Surprised at that she says" yes yes I'm fine, I guess I was just day dreaming" and slowly walks away with confusion written all over her.

"Oh okay, so I'll be going now, take care of yourself" said Austin as he walks away.

Olivia sits down and looks highly disturbed then her phone rings again.

She picks the call.

"Who the fuck are you, like what are you?" she asked outrageously.

"Tone please, I already told you I'm Austin"

"What Austin, the Austin I spoke to minutes ago?"

"Oh you did, well that probably would've been you day dreaming, like you said remember"

Confused and devastated, she says" This is so not cool, what is this?"

"It's me having fun, but come to think of it, a person can have a double life right, like you'll surely understand what I'm talking about"

"No I don't, but what are you trying to say"

"Let me be honest with you, I'm Antonio now, I'm trying to have a double life"

"Austin what are you saying, why are you so jealous, you know I'm always yours" she said blushing.

"No I'm serious, I'm both Austin and Antonio"

"How could you possibly be two people at the same time"asked Olivia.

"How could have a relationship with two different men at the same time, married to one and the other your long lost lover" said the person.

"What do you mean, who are you" she asked out of fear.

"Like I said earlier I'm a close companion"

"What do you want"

"I only just want to lessen your stress, that's the least I could do for you" said the person.

"What sort of joke is this, just reveal who you are and what it is you want" said Olivia with rage.

"Please mind your tone or you'll regret it" said the person.

"What are you going to do, I'm not going to mind my tone, you're a jobless person, better find something meaningful to do with your life, you free loaner" said Olivia as the call gets disconnected.

"Hello, hello, it's like this idiot has finally gotten some sense"said Olivia, she scrolls through her I*******m page.

She receives a message, she opens the message.

Immediate shock and distress written on her face, the phone falls from her hand.

"What is this, how did we get on video?" she said sweating profusely.

An incoming call, she picks it.

"Do you like my surprise?" the person asked.

"What do want from me and how did you get this video?"

"My dear, life is not about how you something's it's about what you do when you get it" said the person.

"What joke is this, please cut to the chase?" said rudely Olivia.

"No I won't I like keeping you suspense"

"Well I don't like it, so could you please leave me alone, you fool"

"Did you just call me a fool, you're so going to regret this"

"Quit it with all this empty threats and don't ever call me again, go disturb another person"

"Oh yes I will, I'll go disturb Austin then, since you refuse to budge"

"What do you mean disturb Austin" asked Olivia as the call ends.

"Hello, hello"

Feeling uneasy and restless tries calling Austin but his number isn't going through.

"Oh my God, what am I going to do now, pick up the call"

"I now, I'll just go to the office" she said standing up with immediate alacrity.

Getting to her car calls for a driver but they're all gone on holiday and the ones that we're around took Austin and Antonio to work.

"Oh shoot, it seems like I have to take cab" said Olivia, trying to hire a cab.

AUSTIN POV

"Brother we have a big deal coming our way today" said Antonio

"Today some investors are coming, these are the papers here on your desk, all the information you need is right there" said Antonio.

"Okay brother I'll go through them and quickly prepare a presentation within this few hours we have" said Austin.

"Yes thank you so much, I'm so glad we're working together" said Antonio with a lot of love in his eyes.

"Yes brother now go I have to work, let me turn off my phone so I won't get sidetracked" said Austin as Olivia's call comes in seconds after he switched off his phone

OLIVIA'S POV

"Switched off, how can this be happening now?" asked Olivia as she stops a cab

"Hello madam, where are you going?"asked the taxi driver.

"I actually don't know where I'm going to but could you please take me to the office"

"Office?"

"Sorry take me to Antonio's corporation"

"Where's that at?"

"I'm not sure,but...." before completing her statement he drives away.

"Where are you going come back, huh he has driven away" said Olivia, then the driver that took both Austin and Antonio to work stops in her front.

"Madam where are you going?" he asked.

"The office, don't ask any more questions and take me to the office" said Olivia as she enters the car.

AUSTIN POV

"Okay, I'm set and good to go" said Austin

Antonio enters the office and says" brother it's time, let's go"

He stands up and leaves the office meanwhile Olivia is minutes away from the office but unfortunately gets stuck in traffic.

In the conference room, they're all seated and Austin is ready to give the presentation.

"So I'd like to welcome you all, some of you might not be able to remember me so let me introduce myself" said Austin.

"I'm Austin, Antonio's younger brother and recently I just joined my brother to take care of the families business"

An applause followed his introduction.

"So let's get to business, we're here for the Children development project which was initiated by my brother to help kids who aren't able to have a good upbringing and education"

He continues with his presentation.

OLIVIA'S POV

"Why is there traffic? I don't have time for this" said Olivia.

Looking out the window she sees a person riding a bicycle and comes up with an idea.

"Hey hey, stop" she yelled out.

The person looks at her"are you talking to me" said the biker

"Yes you, come please" Olivia comes out from the car.

"Could you please give me your bicycle and you'll get a ride in my car to wherever place you're going if you just give me your bicycle" pleaded Olivia.

"Uhm okay, I don't have problem with that, just take care of my bike" said the stranger.

"Thank you so much" said Olivia as she hugs the person.

Hops on the bike and instructs the driver "take this kind person to whichever place she's heading, make sure you drop her off"

She drives off with the bike.

AUSTIN POV

"Let me project the plan for you"

The presentation is being projected on the screen.

"In this first slide, you can see the location of where we want NGO to be"

"Moving on to the second slide, we can see the building plan and the third slide we'll see the interior design"

Olivia managed to get to the office immediately entering she walks to the receptionist table.

"Please can I meet with Austin" she asked.

"Mrs Olivia, Mr Austin is having a meeting right now with your husband"said the receptionist.

"Okay but where's the meeting being held?"

"Ma in the conference room"

"Okay no problem" she left in a flash.

"Let me project the next slide" then suddenly Austin couldn't control the projection and something not related to the meeting is been projected.

A video was about to play, as Austin becomes distressed and confused on what's happening and the investors becomes infuriated by what's happening.
