I
Dareon, who just woke up and alighted from the King-size, soft bed inside his big hovel, heard the crashing sound not too far from where he stood. Thereupon, a slight sound of a woman’s cry tried to creep through his ears. He closed his eyes and strengthened all his senses. Indeed, he could hear a woman’s tiny voice; wait, he could also hear her controlled sobs.
Dareon did not think twice as he shifted himself into his dragon form, flew, and followed the wind to find that tiny voice and controlled sobs. The wind led him to the vastness of the ocean and as he flew more, the sobs he heard became more detectable. The Lycan Princess at that moment was struggling, trying to shift into her wolf form so that she could easily swim to the nearest island. Nonetheless, it was difficult for her; she could not feel Sheenei, her wolf inside. In her human form, she will find it hard to swim until she finds a safe place to stay for a while. She could also feel the weakening of her body. Her wound in her shoulder caused by a silver bullet could not heal as easily as healing an ordinary wound. As a Lycan, though said to be a more powerful and smarter werewolf species yet still, silver is like their kryptonite; it can weaken them and can kill them in the end. Nearby, Dareon in his dragon form continued to flip his wings, senses strongly awakened. Suddenly, the sobs he heard disappeared and except for the waves’ sound, the atmosphere was ruled by silence thereafter. He flew more rounding the vastness of the ocean and then he saw something floating into the water. He speedily flew down and there he saw a human form almost wrapped around by a colorful nylon fabric; where if not for such fabric, such a human might have drowned already. He opened his claws and readied to grab the human out from the sea. As he grabbed the human, he was stunned to see that she is a woman; a beautiful, the most mesmerizing, almost lifeless creature he had ever seen in his entire dragon life. With eyes wandering the vastness of the ocean, he soared up, holding carefully in his claws the mesmerizing woman, who he knew would be changing a great impact in his life. II Dareon flew speedily back to his village. As he landed down, his people were there waiting for his return. His people were in awe as they noticed the beautiful woman that he laid down on the ground. Immediately, a ray of fire surrounded him and as it perished, his dragon form shifted into his human appearance. Dareon checked on the breathing of the woman and he became confused when he noticed that her breathing was slowly fading. Her only injury was a small wound on her shoulder yet she was already dying. Lights came out of Dareon’s hands as he put it above the dying body of the woman and as her body illuminated, Dareon’s forehead furrowed. He intensely looked into the whole form of the woman and out of his shining hands, a new form came out of the woman that only he could see. Like being burned by her body’s light, Dareon’s hands flipped, like a strong wind caught it and threw it aside. Her current was too strong that can make even the strongest fire in him subside. As he looked at her wound in her left shoulder, a vision flashed through his mind; a silver bullet hitting her shoulder as she crashed into the sea. Now Dareon already knew what to do. With the image that flashed through her body and the silver bullet that flashed through his mind; he could determine now the reason for her dying condition. Dareon opened his mouth near the woman’s wound. He needed to burn the silver metal that clung to her skin. After Dareon blew her wound with his hot breath; the woman started to breathe normally. Thereupon, Dareon opened his palms and closed it again after gathering some air around him. As he spread his palms above her heart; the woman’s eyes started to slowly open. The people of Thregonad all kneeled down praising their master dragon. Once again, he made a dying body rise to life; a power that only God can bestow upon him. Indeed, their Master was sent to them by God by fate; to rule them and most of all to protect them. Mesmerized; Dareon’s brown sharp eyes locked into those beautiful greenish eyes, which were looking back at him, wide with shock.I She woke up with a little heaviness in her head. She touched her head, and then suddenly she remembered the wound in her shoulder. She removed the sleeve of her dress covering her left shoulder to check her wound; to her amazement, however, she noticed that it was healed. She could not even see any traces of wound therein. Confused, Princess Shelyca got up and checked her surroundings. She noticed the simplicity yet cleanliness and orderliness of the room that she is into. It is big and the bed is big too. She jumped down from the bed and peeped into the window. She did not know where she was right now. The last thing she could remember about what happened to her was when she tried to shift to her wolf form but she could not then everything became blurred.
IIt has been two days but the Lycan Princess from the Kingdom of Gold Valley has not arrived yet. She was supposed to be in their palace by yesterday.Duke Simon of Sussex has been restless since this morning. He needs to know why Princess Shelyca has not arrived yet. He called on his Assistant to try to contact the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley.“Aron, contact King Andreios and Queen Lusica of the Kingdom of Gold Valley. We need to know if Princess Shelyca was able to leave their palace as scheduled.” Duke Simon instructed his Assistant.“Yes your highness.” His personal assistant excused himself from the Duke after vowing his head.
IPrincess Shelyca was in total shock when creatures of half-human and half-horse holding their swords appeared before her very eyes. She screamed, destroying the peace of every living thing inside the forest. The Centaurs laughed so loud when they saw the fear in their beautiful prey.Dareon without other recourse shifted into his Dragon form. If he will not do it, he might be late and might fail to save the Lycan Princess.“Did you hear that?” One of the Centaurs stopped laughing then tried his sense of hearing to ignite.“What?” The other Centaurs retorted.&
I“So what is it that you wanted to tell me Shelyca?” Dareon asked grinning as they entered his big hovel.“Dareon, Can you help me please contact my family? I don’t know where I am now and how I could be able to speak any of them. They might be worried already.” She replied with worry on her face. She sat on the wooden chair and Dareon followed. He sat beside her.Thoughtfully, he looked at her. “I am sure your parents are worried already. However, we have no means of modern communications here. We are a tribe composed of farmers, fishermen and hunters. We are far from the city.”“I was quite right then with my guess. There is no modern way of communicating from here.&rdqu
IPrincess Shelyca is not a woman who will just easily give in to something that she is not sure of and does not conform to her standards and principles.“Dareon, I am not sure what to do right now. I cannot just marry someone just because I need to, more so that I can give my whole self to him.” Princess Shelyca stated with dissatisfaction in her voice. In her mind, Princess Shelyca is asking how come her almost perfect life became a mess now. She sighed and stood-up trying to inhale some fresh air as she looked outside through the open window in Dareon’s house.Without her knowing it, her mind is so open, it has no barrier that the master dragon could easily penetrate it and sees what lies within. He could read her mind like an open book.
IOn the night prior to the wedding, Dareon flew to Dragon Land and sought the approval and blessing of the Dragon Lord to his upcoming marriage. The Dragon Lord was ecstatic when he heard Dareon’s news. “Dareon, finding your right woman is the happiest thing that you are going to do in your dragon life and I want to be a witness to that. Let me bless you and your bride tomorrow. I will come to grace the occasion and wed you.”“Thank you my Dragon Lord; however my bride is still innocent as to who I really am.” Dareon intimated to the kind and wise Dragon, heading the Dragon Land. The Dragon Lord shook his head with what he heard. “Dareon, honesty or transparency is the foundati
I“Shall we?” Dareon with a grinning expression offered his hand to Princess Shelyca.Without thinking twice, Shelyca gave her right hand to her magnificently looking groom. Dareon accepted her hand and even kissed it before finally leading her out of his hovel.“Ms. Shelyca, you left your veil.” The English speaking teacher who is now married to a Thregonad man handed to Shelyca her veil. “By the way, my name is Mercy,” she added after giving the veil to the bride of their Dragon Master.“Thank you Mercy.” She gave Mercy a smile.Without any word, Dareon helped her bride put the veil on her head. Mercy has be
IThe Dragon Lord smiled widely as he saw Dareon and his lovely bride walking hand and hand going to the altar where he is standing. He can strongly sense the royal wolf blood running the bride’s every vein. He smiled. It will be a history in the Dragon World for the strongest Dragon to marry a royal blood, Lycan woman. The union between them will be magical that will bring a storm of powers to both of them.Confusion yet a ray of excitement are lurking within Shelyca’s mind. He saw Dareon in his Dragon form. She is marrying a Dragon; another strong species that she never actually thought of and expected to be actually living. She heard the myths but she thought it was just a myth.As they reached the altar where the Silver Dragon Lord was standing magnificently in his all white
