4 Beautiful Man

“That’s…something…” Vladimir mumbled as he watched Ashlyn run away from him again.

Vladimir might be a pureblooded vampire yet the reflexes of his beloved mate seriously took him by surprise and made him fly. He was totally amused since he got a very strong yet violent beloved mate but something that he could not tolerate when it comes to his physical appearance.

“She’s going to pay for that.” Vladimir gritted his teeth while rubbing his right cheek where Ashlyn suddenly punched him. 

He did not like somebody messing with his face - his beautiful and gorgeous face. It was totally a different matter. Yet, at the corner of his lips, a smirk was forming as he watched the retreating back of his violent beloved mate.

As for Ashlyn, she just went in a rush to go back to their house with an adrenaline rush passing through her entire body, particularly to her face. She was blushing really hard while her heartbeat was already ringing in her ears.

“Dammit, what’s wrong with me?” Ashlyn complained to herself as she started to slow down since she was already in the perimeter of their house.

She might be panting but her heart rate was not about it. She was totally red as her mind drifted to how close Vladimir was to her. 

“WHAT THE FUCK I AM THINKING!!!!” She growled before she went on climbing back to her balcony.

Ashlyn was a bit irritated and frustrated at the same time while she walked back and forth analyzing what just happened there. She could repeat the scenario over and over again but she always ended up blushing even more. She clicked her tongue before glaring up at the night sky and recalled how beautiful her mate was.

“Wait, what? Did I think about how beautiful she is? Seriously, I’m not even into girls? I think. Maybe just with her? Argh! This is so much!” Ashlyn confusedly asked herself when she realized what she was thinking.

“Wait, I punch her face…I hope it's not that hard…” from being confused, she suddenly got worried since her reflexes get the best of her when she punched Vladimir out of the blue.

“ARGH! WHY I AM FEELING LIKE THIS?! WHAT IS THIS?!” again, Ashlyn went on being irritated by the feeling that she could not accept what it really means.

“YOU’RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!!!!” Ashlyn marked her words with so much all-over-the-place irritation toward her mate.

When Ashlyn having a hard time dealing with her all-over-the-place emotions, Vladimir decided to take a stroll since he noticed that he need to buy some necessities and some pairs of clothing. He was still covered with mud stains and stopped at one flower stall.

“Ahm, excuse me, can you tell me where’s the convenience store and clothing boutique?” Vladimir politely asked the flower stall owner.

“Oh, new here?” the flower stall owner asked which made Vladimir nod.

“Yeah, and I was caught by the rain.” he smiled as he pointed to his dirty clothing.

“I can see that. The convenience store was just two shops away from here and the clothing boutique was just across the street from the convenience store.” the flower stall owner pointed to Vladimir the two places that she was asking about.

“Okay, thank you.” he thanked the stall owner.

“No problem and welcome to Wolf’s Cry.” the flower stall owner welcomed him to their pack which Vladimir felt grateful at.

“Thank you.” he thanked the stall flower owner as he started walking toward the convenience store when he heard the compliment of the stall flower owner.

‘For a vampire, he’s polite.’

“Did some vampire who comes here weren’t polite at all? Oh well, don’t care.” Vladimir wondered about the other vampire dropping here but at the same time, he didn’t care at all.

Vladimir went to the clothing boutique and started buying two to three decent clothing before he head to the convenience store to buy his necessities. When he was done, he went to stop at the shop in front of the flower stall and it was a diner where he took his dinner.

‘How can he eat our food?’

‘I am wondering about it too since he’s a vampire.’

‘If Alpha Jace didn’t tell us about his presence here, we wouldn’t know how to deal with him.’

‘Agreed, but hey, she’s beautiful.’

‘Don’t be deceived, she’s a male.’

‘Dude, you said she.’

‘Did I?’

Being a vampire has its perks since Vladimir could definitely hear their conversation and it made him smirk behind his mind. He just pretend that she could not hear them and just eat the food that he ordered. It was delicious and even without consuming blood for two weeks in a row but upon recalling his blood intake, he need to hunt tonight just for precaution.

“Shit, I forgot to ask Alpha Jace about where I could hunt.” Vladimir thought to himself as he finished his dinner before leaving his payment and the diner. 

Vladimir decided to knock on the front door of the pack house since there was something he forgot to ask the alpha and he need the answer as soon as possible. When Luna Serenity opened the door, Serenity did not hesitate and let him inside.

“Sorry, if I knocked on your door again, Luna Serenity. I just want to ask Alpha Jace about something.” Vladimir apologized for another intrusion and Luna Serenity just shook her head to dismiss it.

“Oh, come with me, he was still in the kitchen.” Luna Serenity led him to the kitchen where her husband was.

“Honey, Vlad is here.” Luna Serenity informed her husband as soon as they came into the kitchen.

“Yes, Vlad, is there something wrong in your duplex?” Alpha Jace asked as he put down his cup and some papers that he was reading on the table.

“Oh no, Alpha Jace. I just forgot to ask where I could hunt my food since I need to hunt later.” Vladimir answered and informed Alpha Jace of his reason for coming back to their pack house.

“Ah, do you prefer sheep or stag? If it was a sheep you can ask our butcher at the market but if you need a stag…” Alpha Jace asked since they have two options for the vampires’ needs.

“Ashlyn!” Luna Serenity suddenly called her daughter when Ashlyn came down the stairs.

“Yes, mom?” Ashlyn wondered but she automatically glared over Vladimir’s presence.

“Ashlyn will take you where the stag was.” Luna Serenity decided out of the blue which made Ashlyn react.

“WHAT?!” Ashlyn reacted irritatedly again.

“He needs to hunt, dear. He’s a vampire.” Luna Serenity said to her daughter.

“BUT WHY ME?” Ashlyn glared at Vladimir who was just listening to what just suddenly happening before him and Alpha Jace was feeling the same.

“CAN SOMEBODY SHOW HER WHERE THAT IS?” Ashlyn shouted as threw the empty half gallon of minty milk ice cream.

“You don’t have work tomorrow which means you can help him later.” Alpha Jace said but Ashlyn smashed the empty glass of water on the table.

“FUCK NO AND THAT’S FINAL!” Ashlyn shouted and left them alone in the kitchen. Vladimir suddenly heard what Ashlyn was thinking as she stepped out of the kitchen.

‘Why would I help her when I can’t stay much longer than three or five seconds with her?! Argh!’

“She really hates me.” Vladimir shyly smiled but honestly, Vladimir wanted to hit Ashlyn when she glared at him. But he was being respectful to the pack leaders before them.

“She doesn’t hate you. She’s just like that.” Luna Serenity chuckled as she handed a hot coffee to him.

“Hope so...” Vladimir whispered which did not escape from the couple’s hearing.

“Well, don’t you like her even she’s like that…hmm, what they call a person like that…hmm…” Luna Serenity chuckled but then she tried to recall the word that some people compared that personally to a hard-to-get person.

“Feisty?” Vladimir guessed.

“Yeah, that’s it. Don’t you like my feisty daughter?” Luna Serenity asked directly and Vladimir almost spill the coffee that he was drinking.

“Dear, I am here.” Alpha Jace reminded his wife about his presence.

“Oh shut up. I like Vlad for Ashlyn.” Luna Serenity slapped the shoulder of her husband.

“Well?” Alpha Jace seriously looked at him. Vladimir sighed as he put down the almost empty cup on the table.

“Ahmm…too soon to tell. But, when it comes to loving someone, I don’t mind having a beloved mate as a violent or feisty woman as long that woman loves me for being me. Understands and accept every flaw and greatness that I had. Expect nothing more, nothing less in our relationship and just loving each other through thick and thin.” Vladimir honestly answered with a little bit dreamy tone but he mean them.

“You sounded like a romantic vampire, Vlad.” Luna Serenity reacted while smiling since she really like him for her daughter. He’s calm that’s why she likes him for her daughter.

“And the way you say them…are you still a mateless vampire?” Alpha Jace caught Vladimir’s longing in his voice.

“Sadly yes, Alpha Jace.” Vladimir smiled sadly which made Luna Serenity give him a reassuring hug.

“Are you looking for your beloved one?” Alpha Jace wondered about his reason for traveling.

“No, I did not expect it anymore. I just travel to experience different life from different species and respect their beliefs whenever I stayed in some place after a long journey.” Vladimir explained briefly and the couple understood.

“Alright, I will send somebody to your house to help you hunt or maybe take you to the butcher.” Alpha Jace decided that Vladimir really appreciated it.

Vladimir excused himself and when was on his way back to his duplex house, somebody was tailing him. He could sense that they did not like him around but he just sigh and stopped before he turned to meet who they are.

“Y-you b-better l-leave this place…” a wolfman stuttered since he was surprised at how beautiful man Vladimir was.

‘Dammit, I stuttered.’

“Y-yeah, leave our pack!” another wolfman stuttered that almost biting his tongue upon seeing his beauty. He was not even using his pheromone ability.

‘Shit, why he has to be gorgeous?’

“Don’t worry, in two months, I’m gone before you know it. Just keep your daily routine and leave me out of it.” Vladimir just smiled before he left them glued onto their spot. He just leave them be there when he heard what they were thinking about him

‘Damn, his voice was totally like a low tone for any woman.’

‘Good thing, the alpha informed us about him being a man, or else, we will be like a fool around him.’

‘You bet.’

Vladimir shook his head but before he could insert his keys to his house, he suddenly heard some familiar voice through his thoughts. It came from the same person who suddenly attacked him from behind.

‘I REALLY HATE THIS!!!!’
