Greg smiled inwardly as he took note of her feelings for him gazing into her eyes, he could hear her heart drumming in her chest too and knew that he had got something on her, this would make it easier for her to continue to help him and Mario, he said inwardly, he could even end up marrying her.

He quickly pushed the thought of marrying her off his mind as he thought that he was being unfair to his wife who just passed.

“Listening to me, Elly, you can do it, so try not to think about it and just do what you need to do,” he said, referring to his wounds that had caused her to stand and peer at him in trembling hands.

Elly nodded and slowly pulled her hands away from him, slowly taking a deep breath too before she started treating his wounds.

A few minutes later she finished dressing his wounds and handed him a clean pair of clothes that she had brought with her which belonged to her ex. “I hope it fits,” Elly told him.
