Never Going Home

Miranda smiled inwardly as she arrived in the finishing line giving her opponents a good space. Nothing beats motorcycle races. Especially when it's illegal in United kingdom. The rush of euphoria and fear of being caught mixed together always got her blood boiling.

She got off her motorcycle smiling as Adam, her bestfriend  and Manager approached her smiling.

"Engineer by day, Racer at night.. living your best life huh?" Adam asked taking her Helmet.

"Let's get out of here, we have a boat race coming up by Sunday.. I need to leave before my father trails me here" She smiled  dragging her motorcycle with her.

"Oh.. princess by the week" Adam whispered.

"Shut up, I'm not a princess" Miranda smiled lifting her motorcycle into the back of her truck kissing it.

"Miranda..." Adam began .

"Shhhhh, I get shivers when I hear my full name, it makes it look like my mom is lurking somewhere looking at me with her stern face.. 'A lady must never run nor climb and you are one' gosh.."Anda mimicked as she got into her truck.

" The money came in"Adam waved his phone smiling.

" I guess, I'll be repairing that car this week,Baron always come through when I need him"Anda smiled driving through the city to her studio rented apartment.

" Its only in movies that Princesses don't want their father's money and influence, you're the first"Adam looked at her.

" I am not a princess, My father isn't the king "Anda rolled her eyes stopping the car.

" I'll see you at the airport tomorrow morning? "Adam asked.

" You bet"Anda smiled watching Adam climb down and run into his apartment.

Turning up the volume of her radio, she nodded at the music. Nothing beats this. Enjoying your youth without Paparazzi taking pictures and writing stories.

She loved walking down the streets without questions or stares. She absolutely loved not having to live in her father's castle behaving like her mother. Cold and defiant. She couldn't do it.

She wasn't a princess but daughter of the prime minister of Dullard. A little English country sourranded by water and Trees.

Her father owned Costa automobile Companies and Car garages in Dullard. He was the most powerful man in Dullard and the king's bestfriend while her mother runs Theresa Malls.

Yes. She came from a very wealthy, Powerful and Influential family but that doesn't mean she wanted to be.

Growing up, All she wanted to be was Just Anda Samuel and when she finally got a degree in buisness just as her father wanted. She travelled to the states to study engineering where she disappeared after getting her certificate .

Anda locked her car and ran up the creaky stairs whistling in happiness.she choose this house for it's poor neighbourhood and balcony. Her doorknobs was broken and it wasn't strange since it was a normal thing which was why she never kept anything valuable in here.

She froze in her tracks as soon as her eyes landed on the tall slim woman dressed in  pristine white suit and red stiletto heels. A smile on her face as Anda stared in horror.

"Goodevening Miranda" Judith greeted bowing slightly.

"Judith .. you found me"Anda whispered softly masking her face and dropping her helmet on the bed .

" What have you done with your hair?"Judith asked frowning in disapproval.

" It kept getting in my face so I cut it"Anda answered.

" And not because you want to cut off any thing that ties you to De Costa? You even dyed it black.. it must have cost alot to colour your rich red hair"Judith smiled.

Even after these years, Judith somehow can read her mind even before she speaks. After all these years, Anda still cowered under Judith's penetrating gaze and powerful presence.

Judith have been working for her family all her life. As a Nanny, Secretary, Driver and even bodyguard. She was her father's most trusted and loyal personal Assistant.

" You haven't changed one bit.. you never get old.. what's are you doing you? "Anda asked.

" What do you think? I'm here to bring you home to Dullard, Your father wants to see you"Judith answered.

" I'm not going Judith, I haven't being to Dullard for Six years and I've been out of trouble and Media.. I want to keep living that way.. without My father"Anda stood up.

" You are to be brought home, even if it means to tying you up, your father wants you in Dullard by tomorrow evening" Judith smiled.

"How did you find me?" "Anda asked.

" It was simple Miranda, You never could resist any race Track so we arranged one with your Boss, Baron oh and don't blame him, it was either that or have him arrested, Racing Is illegal... And like always, you came running"Judith smiled.

" I'm not going with you Judith, I still have things to do here, I work here, my friends live her, I can't pack up one day and leave without a proper goodbye.. please, let me say goodbye"Anda pleaded.

" I can't risk having you disappear again so forget it. Let's go, Miranda"Judith smiled.

"Fine, but let me pack my things?" Anda smiled.

"Pepper spray? Teaser guns and a gun, I took them away so don't even think on using them today" Judith replied.

"You got me, I'm going to drink water in the kitchen before I leave" Anda went to the kitchen opening her refrigerator. suddenly She took her preserved bottle for this task crashing it on Judith's head.

She immediately jumped from the window to the balcony.

"Anda don't..." Judith shouted.

"I'd rather risk dying than going back to my cage" Anda replied climbing down the balcony and running to the motorcycle she always kept ready under the flight of stairs.

This was what she meant when she said she liked the balcony. A good escape route whenever she got found and it played it's role. Goodbye neigbours she thought as she raced into the night. She was never coming back here. It has being compromised.

She stopped in front of Adam's garage.
