Courtney POV

I was in a daze till I got back to my room,I kept staring at the ceiling and smiling sheepishly.

"Milady"

"Yes Reena"

"Do you think His Majesty likes…."I glared at her and she stopped what she was about to say.

"How can he? I'm not as beautiful as most of the ladies here,I don't have talent whatsoever,I'm clumsy and remember I'm just a petty thief" I sighed and shaked my head,I have a lot of flaws.

"I see Milady,let's just focus on what we are here for" I nodded and shook all the thoughts I was having away.

"Milady,your lunch is ready" a timid voice came from the door,and I knew it was the little maid Dehilla.

"Come in" she came in as quietly as she could,and dropped my lunch,she slowly reversed and almost got to the door.

"Come here" I waved to her and she bowed down in fear,

"Come here before I get angry" I pretended to look scary so she rushed towards me,

"Sit" I ordered and she did

"Go on, eat" I urged her and she ref
