An Awkward Breakfast

“Alright Young Master Miller… Let's go for breakfast now.” Rayner said dramatically to his son and took his hand with his left and held Akira's hand with his right hand as they walked downstairs.

However, Akira froze on the stairs when her gaze landed on the entire family and the Brown family sitting at the dining table.

“What the heck are they doing here?” Rayner hissed with a frown as he stared coldly at the people around the table.

Everything that happened the day before came rushing through her head. She wanted nothing but to turn and leave. However, her feet refuse to move.

“Are you okay love? Do you want us to go back to our room? It's okay if you are not ready to meet or talk to anyone yet.” Rayner leaned closer to her ears and whispered whilst he caressed her back.
