It has been two months since Rayner kicked Melissa out of their house.

In fact, and truth be told, Akira felt much better after she was gone. One of the people that gave her headaches was gone from her life, though not complete.

Though Rayner couldn't kick her out of the company because of her family, or more so, because of his late wife, Mel. But he made sure she never come near him when they are in the office.

Anyway, Akira tried her possible best to ignore her whenever they meet at the office.

But something wasn't right. Knowing the temperament of Melissa, she would have made life hell for Akira at the office because she was no longer living with them.

But that wasn't happening. Though Melissa would glare at her most of the time, but she would never go beyond glaring at her.

Not even insulting her or making life difficult for her in the office.

Akira was grateful for that, but something in her told her Melissa is planning something.
