40. Life lessons
"Ian? what's this?" Blair asked as she wakes up with him caressing her hair. She had gotten used to opening her eyes and finds him looking at her, and she was liking his little quirks which she thought was kind of weird at first.
"I got it while I was at my lunch break yesterday."
Ian had placed a small navy velvet box on her palm while she was still sleeping, and he had patiently waited for her to wake up. He always enjoys watching her sleeping, her beautiful face had been carved to his deepest memory yet he couldn't seem to get enough of her.
She slowly sits up and smiles nervously at him, while Ian masked his nervousness by sipping his cup of coffee.
He had been very anxious when he bought her the ring. He was afraid that she would not like his choice and she would lie to him just because she has always been such a nice person.
