39. Being Needed

She was at his place the next morning, he looked like he hadn't slept at all.

"Ian, oh my..." she greeted him the moment he opened the door for her. She was driven to his house by Danny who was giving him the same worried look as Blair.

"Dude are you okay? Blair, maybe I should stay around? he's not looking good at all."

"Blair..." he hugged her as if his life depends on her.

"I got him, Danny. Thank you for the ride."

"Are you sure?" her childhood best friend asked still concern looking at Ian.

But Blair gave him another firm answer and Danny finally nodded and get back into his truck and leave her with Ian after he told her that he would call and check in on her in a couple of hours before he gets back to the suburbs.

Blair guided Ian to the couch and told him that she was going to prepare breakfast for him, but he stopped and kissed her deeply.

"Now that you're here would you just lay with me? I'm not hungry. I'm just tired."
