Chapter 42

Liza

Liza collects herself and begins tidying up as she keeps shyly looking at Tim. She couldn't help but be in awe of such a beautiful man , who has been through so much heart ache, she thought if anyone had the right to mess up, sometimes it was him. She is interrupted by her thoughts when Del and Gabe arrive, Gabe is disinterested with Tim and walks straight past him , hugs his mum, and goes straight to his room to play. Del is polite, but Liza can tell Del doesn't like him and feels that it will just take time for both Gabe and Del to get used to him around.

Liza cooks everyone dinner with the help of Tim, who is quite a master in the kitchen. They flirtaciusly cook together , laugh together, and poke fun at each others varried skills in the kitchen. Dinner felt awkward but was over quickly. Liza went and read a book to Gabe before he fell asleep, and Del retired early to bed, citing that she was exhausted from a big day.
