Chapter 37

Liza

The next morning Liza was going about her business doing washing and household chores, her mind wandering to the the events of the day before. She was excited that she got the interview ; however, she knew that it would be atleast a week until she heard any news. She felt a pit in her stomach as the inconsistancies of the day began replaying in her mind. She thought it was odd when the receptionist could not find her scheduled interview and that Tim was the one to interview her, alone at that. She furthermore felt it weird that the questions seemed less structured and that the interview was in Tim's office and that he had clients waiting in a board room whilst he interveiwed her.

Liza couldnt shake a feeling that the whole process was weird, however she chose to swallow the doubt as she needed some good news. Liza continued to use her time looking for other opportunities as she was never one to put all of her eggs in one basket.
